gm says ill get banned if i pvp

first off this is a private server that im on and im just wondering if it is normal for private servers to ban multi-boxers i mean if its perfectly a-ok to do this on live don't see why its not on a private server where gms boosting other players in pvp is not uncommon ~_~

Playing on a private server is something that is not condoned by Blizzard and as such not condoned around here.

Pretty much its a private server. They can do what they want, when they want. You have no control and they play by their own rules.

Private servers are nothing more then someone installing a little server utility and passing the IP address around. They can do anything with this and it has nothing to do with Blizzard or it's policies.

Private servers are garbage by the way.
