I am using two 22 inch lcds setup with a vertical span, but I cannot get the aspect ratio correct so that my screen looks right. I would like to use the top monitor to display 4 characters, and my lower monitor to display only one.

The resolution that I am using is:
840x525 for the smaller sessions
1680x1050 for the larger one.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

what is the resolution of your monitors?
are they in dual view or a wide screen turned portrait?
what are the display numbers? (ie: \\DISPLAY1, \\DISPLAY2, etc)

1680x2100 setup with a vertical span
both are standard widescreen

They are both setup on \\.\DISPLAY1. I do not know how to add a second display.

ok, that doesn't make much sense.

you say you do not know how to add a second display, yet in the previous line you say 'both are standard widescreen'... 'both' implying 2 monitors.

i will assume you have 2 screens... in vertical span mode... meaning windows sees both screens as one long screen with a resolution of 1680x2100 (each screen set to 1680x1050)

i would imagine the layout editor is a bit small... and it would be tough to work with.

i would set the game resolution for all your regions to 1680x1050 ... and set the dimensions for all the smaller ones to 840,525

i hope that helps. let me know what you end up with

Rob

Okay, I got it. Sorry for the confusion Rob. I didn't set the resolution correctly. I didn't know that the in game resolution was changed via maximizer... I thought it would auto change based on region size. When I changed the resolution from 800x600 to 1680x1050 it works great.
