I have friends that play on a pve server and I've been trying to level a team up on the other server so I can play with these friends when I get bored on my pvp server. The problem I am having is that even though I am using RAF I just can't stand playing a different type of team. I've tried both 4x mages and 4x locks and I just can't get into it. Everytime I think about end game pvp with these teams I know I will not enjoy it. My highest RAF team after 5 weeks of is only 40 and I really don't want to have completely wasted the RAF. I seriously need to get at LEAST one team to 60 using RAF or i'm going to kick myself later. I'm now tossing around the idea of just rolling a new shaman team on the other realm.

Anyone else have this dilemna or were you able to push through and just finish a new team?

Tell your friends to transfer over to your server :). I've had the same issue, but I just keep going back to my own server with my original toons. That's the way it goes I 'spose.

Cheers.

Cheers.Unfortunately that wouldn't work because they are Alliance. A few of them have level 70 horde toons on my server but the vast majority of my friends just don't like pvp and want to stick with that server. Regardless, I really need to get a team to 60 so I can at least use RAF. Then I get a couple of extra toons for free.

Personally I'd rather play on a PvP server without friends than a PvE server with all my friends. Maybe thats just me though...I don't really like PvE much and adore world pvp.

My Horde Shamans are completely capped out and I was pretty bored, so I leveled up and in the process of gearing out Alliance Shaman :)

It's hard to make anything else when you know what works - the xpac is swirling in many role defining changes for classes, another class could rise and become the ultra mega mega flavor.

I'd go with whatever you have fun doing, it's the most simple and effective way to make a decision I've found.

Ahh yeah, well tell them to roll Horde then :-) (just kidding, just kidding). I guess you'll have to stick it out :-\. All the best to you though.

Another problem I have is how squishy clothies are. At least I'm not alone in the idea of doing a second shaman team. I thought I was crazy for thinking it.

I rolled a second shaman team a few weeks back.

My decision on another shaman team was two fold.

1. I love my warlock. I got to gladiator in 2s in s3 and thus I made a raf team to raise 3x more. Alas, it was not as easy to control as the shamans and I really missed the mail/shield protection that the shamans provided. So my warlock MB team was put on "maybe someday status".

2. It has been kinda tough finding new healers. My wife plays but she will not pvp with me. :( So I made an alliance team so I can kinda play both sides and if my horde team loses its healer for whatever reason, I now have an alliance team. I have found its much easier to find alliance healers basically since there are more players in general alliance side.

I found it worth while to get it done during my raf period. I honestly probably would not have bothered if it was not for raf.

I'm currently leveling a 2nd horde team on the same server lol, my first team were all tauren's ( which I have kicked myself for again and again, wtf was i thinking ) which cause major sight issues and their racial simply isnt practical for a multiboxer and with the changes to bloodfury for orcs I finally bit the bullit and rerolled orcs. My tauren team is well off in arena's but its just something that would otherwise always drive me nuts, I thought I was crazy for doing it but w/e I was bored! I've seriously lost matches because I simply couldnt see the melee people inside of my fatass tauren cow models when they were cutting figure eights ( doesnt help that 90% of alliance melee are gnomes or nightelves ).

Ya the main reason my alliance team was female space monkeys rather than the huge fatty males.

HEH, man there are a lot of multi shaman teams out there. ROFL, I guess us boxers are a crazy lot after all! I think it's time to roll me 4 hot alien chickies then! James T would be so proud!

I got help from 20-55 using RAF and from 55-70 did mostly quests/dungeons. Questing seemed to be much faster and at 61+ random lvl 70's are easy to handle.
