As I've got three AMD systems at home (X2 5600, X2 6000 and an X4 9600) I'm not exactly on the jump to intel train... I like my systems but I've been really wanting to see an AMD chip that matches more than the Intel Q6600 and they haven't yet...

Anyhow, a bit of light on the horizon, it looks like AMD may have some new toys for me yet... So anyone considering buying a 2.6ghz phenom quad core is probably better off holding off or going intel for now!

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819115036 $190
vs

An e9350... which I can't find anywhere on newegg... the closets is
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103285
Which is 600mhz faster than the 9350 for $160 instead of $190...

So for $30 LESS for a superior product, I sure as hell hope the dual core 1ghz faster clock speed cpu blows it's doors off...

Oh, and lets not forget that they are benchmarking something entirely NOT similar to what we do in multiboxing... I'm running 5 copies of wow... they are running ONE copy of a screamingly high end video game...

The 9950's aren't at the same power rating 140w vs 65w and the 9350's just came out so it's going to take a minute for them to get some stock.
