Because I know many times people don't post just because its too hard/too much time/etc... I am really interested to see if everyone is following Ellays lead or if they are doing this a little different, theres so much possible variation when you get in the details. Type of Boxer (ie. Dual, Triple, Quad, Five): I have 5 but I play 3 or 4 for arena

Boxer Class Composition (ie. 4xShaman, Spriest+3xLock): I play 3 or 4 shamans and I have been running a well geared rogue as of late to fix a few bad match ups against caster heavy LoSing teams.

Healers Used / Spec / Gear (ie. Priest/Discipline/PvP & Priest/Holy/PvE): Holy pally 4pc PVP 4 pc PVE sunwell geared.

Number of Arena Games Played (Estimate of Total EVER played): about 400 this season and last.

Quality of Gear (Resilience) (ie. 3/5 S4 + Badge gear (375)): main 4 pc brut sunwell damage mace ( Tried 4pc PVE / 4pc PVP but it I liked the extra resilience alot more ) the rest 3 pc brut s1 helm s3 weapons. ( Sadly Started the season in greens and blues and have not been able to push a real rating untill the last few weeks. )

Trinkets (ie. Main=Medallion of the Horde + BG Master, Alts=Dmg Trinket + BG Master): Icon and Medalion of the Alliance ( I like this set up against Euro and Euro seems to be the worst matchup we have so I keep this on always )

Meta Socket(ie. +12 crit +3% Crit Dmg): The 12 damage and run speed one been waiting for s4 helms swapping to the 12 crit and 3% damage one then.

Soapbox (write anything you would like here): I multi box mostly for the added challenge and the fact you have to come up with your own strats for everything from PVE to PVP but I do read everything here to pick up anything I can.

Soapbox (write anything you would like here): I feel unbeatable at the moment. Amazing what two night of undefeated games does to your ego, hehe. A healer is everything, I lost the healer I had been running with this season do to transfer (he couldnt resist an offer for 7/7 T6). So I found a greatly Skilled Dpriest in full S3 (former Glad in S1) and a very good Palladin (6/7 T6). Good Healer + Focus Ability is making quick work of everyone. Im ready to take #1 on this BG group.

Soapbox (write anything you would like here): I love playin this comp, its is realy easy to get games in. The only thing I dislike is I only fight people with rating below mine, only win 1-5 points, and lose a ton... This battlegroup is full of the heavy caster plus rogue teams from 1850-2050. So good games are realy tough lol... I will get up higher before the patch but I have to dedicate to alot of games... Everyone goodluck.... Amizzle

Soapbox (write anything you would like here): It's awesome to see so many make these accomplishments, I had no idea there were so many doing so well. I didn't really enjoy being so far on the top ahead of everyone else because quite frankly I personally feel I don't do anything amazing that others on here can't do. Just takes some time and practice and a little patience! :)

Who are the highest ranked true multiboxer ? (ie only 1 person; noone else doing heals or whatever help - maybe in 2v2 or 3v3 if 5v5 is too much for a boxer)

I don't think there is any significant progress with someone 5boxing a 5v5. I quad box shams in 5v5 with a resto sham/holy pally healing - (they are 3 weeks old and already 1750 rating with some blues/greens still). There is too much to do already controlling the flow of the fight, and even with the amazing healing macros I have that combine a 2xheal/3xdps or 3xheal/2xdps for any team member being hit (these work amazingly in regular pvp - untouchable) - in arenas its all about quick decisions and precision... healing throws off the rhythm and therefore our advantage. Quad dps teams will tear us apart if we arent careful and get the jump on them. This is just my experience.

Any NON-shaman teams over 2k? :P Probably not. Mages, while they have the DPS, die FAR, FAR too easily. It was almost laughable actually. No other class can DPS - AND - heal like shammys and they get mail and shields to boot. MAYBE DKs will be viable but we will see what the expansion brings. Since a single death in arenas means you lose, it comes as no surprise that shammy teams are finding so much success.

I'm noticing a lot of you guys are full S4 minus shoulders ( or you have them, gratz ellay! ) at any rate, I'm full S4 minus Chest, Legs, Wep, Shield (all s2 I've only been 70 2 months ), and Shoulders of course. Am I wasting my time trying to aim for 2k? My team's pushed over 1900 once or twice but with well over 500 games played on my old team ( just rerolled a new team named Ride the Lightning ) I'm wondering if I'm using my time effectively bothering to play 50 and 60 games a week at my current gear level? Of course practice is always good, but at some point frustration begins to kick in and I just find myself cursing a lot on teamspeak haha ....



Also I'm slightly curious at you guys key passing setups, is everyone using keyclone here? It seems the only way to setup a leaderless setup is through keyclone correct?

You'd be incorrect.

He's going to beat the crap out of me for calling him out, but Smokebum is a bud on Coilfang. He exclusively quint boxes arena. We've both been 2k+ (I quad box and have been quint boxing when my healer isn't on) and currently he's at 1936.

I've been screwing around recently waiting on the content patch quad boxing with people for them to get their gear, but with the announcement today that S4 is going to end with the content patch it's back to the serious games this weekend to push for as high as we can.

As for the 5 boxing team doing pretty well at 1936 rating, very nice job there - I'm interested to see if that can go further, there are quite a few limitations that come into play at the higher ratings, such as major los'ing / cc and worst of all res'ing in different locations.

It's sad over here. Every team that que's now is a JAC comp.

We were both over 2k until the JAC spree hit in the past 2 weeks and all the higher teams rerolling. Played 7 0 point games last week.
