View Full Version : Castsequence, Round Robin, Keymapping & Solo play question

I started with a mixed group so I had no reason to do a round robin or a castsequence for the purpose of staggering spells. However, now I am boxing a group of shaman and I have a problem getting this to work.

I started by using round robin in Keyclone but I was unable to get that to work with my keymappings. If I fired off Earthshock it worked for the main but if I pressed it again it would not work for the alts. So I decided to use castsequence macros. This works while boxing (although it mean more unique macros to maintain) but I found that if I don't play my normal group then the macro fails miserably. Let's say I bring in two shaman to run an instance. Well sometimes nothing drops unless I push the key multiple times. Also, I still like to BG solo and depending on who I am playing I may have to press a key between 1 and 4 times to get a single totem to drop.

So do any of you have a suggestion to allow me to play solo, duo, trio, AND fouro?

Thanks!

Maybe set up a different folder for solo play and duo... etc. But it sounds like the macros are operating as they should. The "," in your round robin sounds like its your issue for having to press multiple times. I'm no expert though... I can hardly call myself a novice. I origninally had the same problem you did with Keyclone, but found it wasn't keyclones fault, it was mine. Not saying this is true in your case, I'm just saying I was able to make it happen with Keyclone. Hope I helped slightly.

Yeah, this isn't so much about something isnt work as I expected as much as it is about how can I make it better. As far as a separate directory, it would probably be easier to just maintain multiple sets of macros and copy over as needed. Keep in mind that I could be playing 1-5 chars so that is five different macro libraries to maintain.

Thanks for the feedback.
