My first post, so thanks for making a great forum and all the helpful info. I just got Keyclone the other night and already love it.
Now my primary question is " has anyone ran out of macro button options?" any solutions/ suggestions?
I raid with 2-3 of my characters (Sunwell working on Kiljaden with main) and level/ play alts in spare time with friends for fun. Over the years I have accumulated a number of macros that I use across multiple characters and these have tied up the majority of my default blizzard macro spots. The first concern I have now that I'm playing with Keyclone is I know macros are key to making everything smooth and easy but I don't think I have the room to make that many without losing some macros I would rather keep. I see there is an addon "MegaMacro" that adds 84? extra macro slots, anyone have experience with this or have other suggested solutions?
Thanks for your time and any input, Keep up the great work
Can you create a separate WoW directory for your Multibox/ Alt setup?

I'm almost maxed on Default Blizz Character specific macros and account wide macros on my main characters and plan on using them as slaves at times so I'd need additional macro space or loose old ones. I am currently running all accounts on 1 PC if that matters.
I continued searching the forums after I originally posted and found a similar question:
Is there a way to get more macros? ('http://www.dual-boxing.com/forums/index.php?page=Thread&postID=45767&highlight=macros#post45767')
I'll look into these and see if they solve my concerns

From the sounds of it I don't think he has used his character specific macro's
So use them if you have them
Edit: Didnt see above post.
Try Trinity Bars...
http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/info7810-TrinityBars2.0.html
I managed my first two MB teams (5 Warlocks and 5 Shamans) without exceeding the built in macro/button limits.
However, my current project is taking 4 existing 70s and building a mixed team to drag up a 5th... to do this, I didn't want to make the existing chars incapable of being played 'solo' so I finally took the plunge and installed Trinity bars, turning off the built-in interface bars when I'm MBing and just using Trinity bars.
Trinity has it's own macroing interface "that allows for an unlimited number of macros up to a length of 1023 characters".
Making bars of any size/shape is very easy.
It's then trivial to put spells, items, macros etc on those buttons.
And it's *so* easy to bind your keys.
It's fantastic... wish I'd tried it months ago... although it did take even longer to set up than Pitbull :)

i second that. trinity bars will do that for you. it will replace your default actionbars, but if you've played this game long enough, you can basically reconfigure all your buttons in a short time. my suggestion is to take a screen shot of your interface so you know where your buttons were before.

I don't think this is going to work in the coming weeks/months. I read somewhere (i'll look for the link) that they are moving macros and keybinds to be stored server side. So you will be stuck with the space they give you. Again, i'll have to search for the link.
edit:
here is one link... http://www.tentonhammer.com/node/43200
here is Blizz stating it. Post 8 i believe ('http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.html?topicId=8202271194&sid=1')

It might become so that macro's will be stored server side, but if blizzard is to make a change like that, I would deem it very likely they would increase the number of possible macro's as well as the max length of them.
