Logitech G15 (new Orange), i am too silly

Hi,

i bought this overprized G15 keyboard (new version, orange),

i simple wanted to give one of the G-Keys for example strg+1.

In wow (i use Bongos ) strg+1 is the healing totem for my shamangroup.

But if i bound str+1 to the G-key, nothing happens in game :((

Probaly Octopus (or keycklone) cannot read the G-keys ???

If you are running vista, make sure to run Logitechs G series keyboard profiler as Admin

hm, i always thought i am the admin...but i am not sure, i am the only one using this PC...

I use winxp, there i ve to be admin as well ??

dont think of the G keys as new keyboard keys, as far as i know they are the same as the older G15 and you have to bind the G keys to a 'normal/standard' keyboard key, what ive done is unbind the Fbutton keys that open bags and bound them to the G keys seeings i never press F9 to open bag 3 or whatever, hope this makes sense XD

Also, make sure you bound the key in the world of warcraft profile.
Chances are you bound the key in the "default" profile, which will be replaced by the WoW profile as soon as you start the game.

i had to go to Settings->profiler->profile then check the "enable persistant profile" box in order to get it to work for all accounts. if you dont do that the multiplexer cant seem to acknowledge the g keys cause the profile doesnt match. also in vista i dont think you can ever be a true admin. bill gates i think has retained that title for himself.

what i did was to take my g keys and bind them with modifiers id never use like 'ctrl+alt+p' that way id still have my full spectrum of standard keys avaliable to me.

For the G15 owners out there, is this keyboard worth it? It sure looks snazzy, but in reality how does it help?

It was 20% off at Blizzcon, but I didn't feel like plunking down the moola for it.

It was really handy for wall jumping (when it was alive, and mounted jumping isn't as fun anymore =P). The macro function allowed you to record the timing based on jump + forward key. For multiboxing the only positive feature of it would be the extra keys to bind.

Does anyone else have an issue with the g-15 not sending your macros cross toon since patch... I checked the macros, they all still work (least the ones I tested) They just for some reason wont respond to the g keys any more
