Hi I’m ELBA
I’m a 5 boxor. I deleted 3 accounts and and got 3 new ones. I’m now a RAF 5 boxer! I used “Mendicant” guide he posted “RAF Multiboxing leveling guide (horde) 5-26 ('http://www.dual-boxing.com/forums/index.php?page=Thread&threadID=12142')”. In that thread “wougoose” posted that he was “working on porting this over to TourGuide” I then researched TourGuide. I got 3 new add ons TourGuide, TomTom, LightHeaded. I loaded “wougoose” guide in to Tourguide and use that. However it stops at approx level 14. I then used Mendicant’s guide that I printed out for levels 15-26. I keep checking the thread for updates but none so far. However “Upas” posted on thread ‘I plan on using stavos's and iniria's "guide" located on http://stavos.wordpress.com ('http://stavos.wordpress.com/') to create tourguide filed to 60”.
I really got addicted to TourGuide. I know this community would love to have access to a RAF Multiboxing Leveling Guide (1-60 horde) and (1-60 alliance) all in TourGuide files. I play both and so would I.
So I took a dive and looked at finishing wougoose’s work. I found this program “WoW SciTe LUA”over at www.wowguru.com ('http://www.wowguru.com/') to edit the TourGuide files.
I took the “Levels 12 to 21: The Ghostlands” file and finished it. It was easy I just opened the file and added to it. I learned so much about TourGuide ('http://www.tekkub.net/addons/TourGuide') from the “How to edit TourGuide guides ('http://www.tekkub.net/pages/tourguide_editing')” webpage. Now I need to start a new file and write mendicant’s “Levels 21 to 26: Ashenvale” into a TourGuide file. I also would like to add files to level 60. On this page“How to edit TourGuide guides ('http://www.tekkub.net/pages/tourguide_editing')” it says “If you create a new file, save it in the appropriate folder and add the name of your file to TourGuide.toc (in the main folder). However I don’t have a program to open a “.toc” file. This is where I am stuck. Any help here would be great. I could then use my notes (I took 2 teams of 5 toons to level 60) and make TourGuide files and share them.
I am currently on my 3rd team and loving the triple xp. Looking at http://stavos.wordpress.com ('http://stavos.wordpress.com/') I noticed the guide is almost already in “TourGuide” form. Example on “Quest Log 41-50” is “Fly to Undercity” “Ran to Booty Bay” and every line with quests starts with “Completed” or “Picked up” or “Turned in” xyz quest. So it would be very easy to take stavos’ guides and convert them into TourGuide files.
I am rolling an alliance team next. For them I’m looking at “Chaosomega’ post “Howto: 1-60 RAF ('http://www.dual-boxing.com/forums/index.php?page=Thread&threadID=12494')” and will most likely make it into TourGuide files as well.
That’s all for now. Please help me find a way to open and edit a wow “.toc” file. I would be greatful to be able give back to this wonderful community. I have gotten so much from all you posters here. (The search button is my friend) I just want to share some TourGuide files that would benefit other RAF mulitboxers.
