i started a team of shaman/shadowpriest, they're both 24 at the moment, just remembered on my main account i have a 26 shadow priest on there already, is it something that it's ok to delete the new shadowpriest i made and go along with this old one i've had forever? as in it'll still get the xp bonus and levels to grant to others etc? or does it have to be with the other one i made?

So long as the 2 are linked that is perfectly fine. Since the "older" toon is on the vet account you dont have to worry about losing any granted levels by deleting the 24 either.

Or you could leave the 26 alone keep leveling the 24 with the other and then grant the 26 levels at the end. That way you can have 2 priests one shadow spec and one holy spec. Or one for PVE and one for PVP. Several options to go with here. :)

if i was to delete that toon will i loose whatever levels i gained for granitng? like i did 2 mages too that i'm gonna get rid of if i delete both will i loose those levels to my account to be granted as well?

Only the recruit account gets levels to grant. So deleting any toon on the vet account doesnt mean anything.

However since the levels are granted from the leveled toon on the recruit account back to a toon on the vet account you will loose any gained levels if you delete that toon prior to granting the levels. Now once you grant the levels you can delete all you want.

To grant levels you must have the recruit toon that has levels to be granted logged on and in a party with a toon from the vet account you wish to grant levels to. I think I also read somewhere that they have to be in close proximity to one another, however this may not be the case.
