Hi all,

Currently i use a cast sequence macro for my dots - basically - CoA, Corruption & Immolate.
For my other dot I use Petattack (I'm demo spec'd) :P

The problem I'm having is that if I'm not facing the target, the sequence stops at Immo, and doesnt go past.

Is there a way around this?

I was thinking of using a modifier like shift or alt, but if I do that does it reset the sequence when I use the modifier? Lets say I bind it to the '3' key...
ie. '3' = CoA, Corr & Immo
'Alt-3' = CoA & Corr

I hit '3' to start the sequence (casting CoA), but then mob or player moves behind me, so it hit 'Alt-3' (to cast Corr)? Or does that reset the sequence, so what I'd really want to do is go 3 (CoA), 3 (Corr), then 'Alt-3' (back to CoA again) if I want to keep cycling through?

Does this make sense?

Cheers,

2 castsequences?

And probably a reset timer on them both.

3:
/castsequence reset=6 curse of agony, corruption, immolate

alt+3:
/castsequence reset=6 curse of agony, corruption

Or you could simply start the castsequence with immolate. Theres some frontloaded damage, so early aggro could be an issue I guess, but it's really the best idea if you wanna load up on dots only once pr target.

That or end with immolate and have it reset at that point...

Yeah I thought about having the two cast sequences on the one macro. I think I can get away without the reset timer on the 2nd one, since they are both instants and I'm not really fussed in which order they land.

The other idea I was thinking about was using Alt to reset the sequence. Both ideas seem viable...

I can't start the sequence with Immo, becuase if i'm not facing the target, the sequence won't start, and I want this sequence to be able to handle adds and PvP attacks that may come from behind...

Anyway, thanks for the responses guys, much appreciated!
