Sry if its old news to some but it might be new news to others.

As you most know you can open this file with word or most text editors.

There is only one in your WTF directory regardless of how many accounts you have on that computer.

It will keep the settings of the LAST account that you logged out.

So if you change settings on one account and then log it and then log another account your settings will go back to the last account you logged ... Thus if you only have one computer and one WoW folder you kinda have to run everything with the same settings, although many have posted workarounds. I dont think that having multiple wow folders is a good idea though. Maybe renaming the file on the fly somehow as you start up might be better.

Any if you were wondering why you set some of the effects and then you logged in and they changed well thats why ...

I'd recommend going with symbolic linked wow directories so you do have separate config files, but share the data files.

Yup.

That's the number one reason for most of us having two WoW folders - one for the "main" (sic) and one for all the drones, with lower graphics settings, etc.
