Do not waste your time in the early levels doing balance. You run into mana issues, and their dps is just crap.

I speccd 4x balance druids, I killed stuff faster in cat form with a balance spec than by casting balance spells! So yeah, spec feral and save yourself a crapload of time. Meleeing 4 druids is really no issue since 4 cats will rip apart a mob in about 2 seconds.

In case you're wondering the "main" is a warrior in this case.

Can anyone chime in on how the balance gear gets in the later levels? I'm hoping there's alot of balance gear in BC at least.

dunno, i'm running 2 balance druids and so far i've had no issue.
Only level 23 however, but so far mobs die after i cast 1 starfire and wrath (x2)

i'll give cat form a try though, but i like being ranged/caster

Yeah got to love the HoTs, no need to stop to heal, just do it on the run on the way to the next mob or during the fight. No time lost, and big overheals.

Running 3 level 66 Balance Druids... Its working out great so far.. Most gear I have right now is mainly cloth gear... Haven't really seen much balance spec gear around... Come WoTK balance druids will be so much more fun! Right now I run with my two friends.. Tank/Healer.. we have had no problems with not having any CC.. 9 treants and 3 hurricanes do great AoE damage :)

How do you manage to place the green targetting runes for the treants & hurricane? (Do you truely 5 box with duplicated mouse cursors?)

Got my group of 5 druids from 1-59 in 7 days (realtime), Balance all the day.

Just stack Intellect and you will be fine. Every 10 levels i went to the AH and used around 2-3g on each char buying Int/spirit gear. Just play the team as you where warlocks (DoT and run)

You cant do that, not using a macro anyway - you have to click every window.
I just have the spell binded to a key and click in each window, i find it kinda useless atm. Unless a 70 jump me, then i hot all up and use the 4-5sec to plant all the treants.

This is pretty much what I do. I have one macros that will cast the treant spell then have to click each window (if i click the button a second time it will give me the hurricane spell where i have to click the windows again). Pain in the butt if you don't have your camera view setup right. 15 treants can really come in handy if a higher level player jumps you. That is 30 hands (trunks?) beating on you.

I just put up with clicking on each screen... since I only have 3 druids.. You get really quick at doing it when you're on a PvP server
