Was just playing the the talent calculator from the latest beta and I just noticed that the Enh tree talent "Thundering Strikes" gives up to 5% spell crit, and only requires 5 points into Enh. Not sure if its a typo?

It seems now that almost all the Enh low tier talents help Ele in some form.

Earth's Grasp for 50% increased life for Stoneclaws
Ancestral Knowledge for 8% intellect
Imp Shields for 15% more mana from Water Shield
Shamanistic focus for 45% less mana costs on Shocks.

All those only cost 14 points so that leave 57 points for Ele and maintain your 5% spell crit from talents.

It's probably no typo, since blizz announced that there won't be "spellcrit" anymore. It is going to be simply crit, regardless whether it's meelee or magic damage.

No Bliz isn't removing Spell crit, or are they removing +healing. Yes +crit will affect spells and +healing will be turned in to spell Power. But there will still be talents that will only affect one aspect of it such as spell crit. or like the talent for resto shaman that now only affects +healing based on Int%, and not spell power.

but in short is 5% crit worth giving up for some of the other talents now? well that's up to each person, but there is going to be reasons to not have to go in to the Resto tree now if you Elemental. :)

wow I think that is pretty huge. I was dumping 20 points into the restro tree to get 5% crit on lightning bolts. I am becoming more and more of a fan of spending 20 points in enchancement.
