OK, so over the last month or so I've got my 3 x warlocks and 3 x druids levelled up ready for Outlands (well not exactly, one of the druids was a 70 booster but you get the point).

Purpose was to have 3 x locks for PvP and 3 x druids for instance stealth-farming at level 80.

However, the itchy bug that was always on the horizon, is that thinking of "Hmmmm, 3 IS pretty fun but I would like my own 5 man team..."

I should say right now that I have not one jot of energy left in me to level another team so if 1 x druid tank, 1 x druid healer and 3 x warlock isn't going to cut it, I'll knock it on the head. If I level again it will be the 3 gnome deathknights and nothing else but I just can't face levelling another team from 0. Ever. It was hard enough even with RAF.

So, do you think (even if it's a little harder) you could make a good go at heroics from this team? Obviously the fear factor is a bitch and the healer druid has no AOE heal (unless I've missed something in WOTLK). I guess the warlocks can succy targets for CC and the druid will be getting a rez so......I dunno basically?

Am I crazy? Chasing after something that will ultimately just frustrate and under-deliver? Would be interested in the community's thoughts.

CC: Locks only have fear. Druids only have cyclone and to a lesser extent, root. Diminishing returns.

Burst: Druids have none. Locks if you spec Dest, but you're very vulnerable to burst and CC.

Survivability: both super squishy. Druids at least can heal, but unless you're resto, you can't do it. 2 OOMkins and a Resto would be fail.

Yeah, don't see it happening. Mages, maybe.

Yeh should have no probs doing heriocs.

Druid does have an aoe heal called Tranquility but its on a 10 min cool down and is channeled :P

You won't have a problem as long as you can get good at bear tanking. The group you have is essentially a holy trinity group. One Tank, healer, back up healer the boomkin and 2 dps, with a back up dps, the boomkin.
Its more to manage than 5 shammies but once you get it down it is alsohas more versatility.

First step is getting a focus-less set up so you can use your limited cc. After that just get your cast sequence macros set up.
