Hi everywhere, hello boxing Community!

First of all its nice to find a place to get help an information about this interesting subject ^^ keep up the good work!

I just setup a 5 player boxing team:

Runs on a single (high scalable PC) @ 4800x1600:

The Questions:
The most important question would be, where i can find Makro`s to use (for example) a spread out figure! I played around with it, but couldn`t handle it!
Next: Sometimes there are focus (or lets better say) target problems. I focus a mob and start to attack, the mob starts to move and pass me so I have to chance the direction of sight! But i have AWSD on the blocklist, so all the rest of the group (all except the main) lost its focus! Thats not so good at all ^^ Maybe theres a tricky way to solve this!
Further: I tried to use the 'maximize' feature, without success! Is a horizontal span (not possible anymore with vista and directx 10 cards) recommend ?

Are there any additional information/makros, which could be useful ?
(i already searched the forum, but whee ^^ it confuse me)

what I did and this is for a 3 box team so the extra 2 you migh have to get creative, first I went int to my toons keybindsing the center toon I unbound pageup and pagedown, for the toon I wanted to run to the left, I bound strafe left to page up, and strafe right to pagedonw, the one I want to run to the right i bound strafe right to pageup and srafe left to pagedown. then using my nostromo (you can use any prgrammable keyboard or device that can do time delayed keypresses) I set the scroll wheel up to press page up for .7 seconds and scroll wheal down to press pagedown for .7 seconds. this way when I get somewhere I stop use scroll up and my guys expand out, when im done I hit scroll down and they come back, more for flare then anything tbh.

I own a Logitech G15 Keyboard.. so should be possible with it!
but i still do not understand what/how to to do (it).
Where is the time-delay (0.7 sec) from? Latency?

Is there a 'noob' tutorial available (somewhere) ?

I dont have a G15 so I dont know what the programming window looks like but there should be an option to determine the length of time the key is pressed down, as I stated I set mine for .7 seconds, which spreads them out at a decent interval, and brings them back on center with the main toon.

Let me test with my 8800s (DX10 cards) real fast.

Edit: Hmm.... seems the Nvidia control panel is all new and I didn't see any options for clone, dual view etc.

But the 8800 is known to be fairly buggy when it comes to features (I can't even turn on SLI because I have 3 cards plugged in, even if one is completely disabled). Can anybody else confirm? That seems awfully dumb.

4800 horizontal = 3 monitors in horizontal span
Not a span, just an 'enhancement', but works with DirectX like a Span-Mode (some differences). Three Displays (each 1600 horizontal) in a row (4800), with a second line above them (vertikal 2400). So the total resolution is 4800x2400 (6x 21"). But for WoW i use just 4800x1200.

You can, but only with Windows XP (and theres only DirectX 9 available).
If you want to use DirectX 10 you need to use Vista. And the current Nvidia changelog says, its not (and wont be) possible to use it in span Modes anymore!

Yeap, same here, but logical! SLI is for two cards only, the third one kicks ass! I wanted to use the three cards as one card with a 6x display multiplexer (enchanced version for ex. matrox triple head), there are versions for up to 12 dislays.
But not possible to compare the power of 3 cards without an videoserver (example: needed for flight simulation).
So i use it in an open (single) version, with 2 Monitors (each 21") connected to every card (works nice even with highgfx like Hellgate London).

Well, they are working on being able to use a 3rd video card for physics calculations, etc.

2 in SLI and a third for extra "stuff".

But they need to get their driver act together first.

Because you SHOULD and can use SLI with a 3rd card installed. You just can't do so with 8800s. It's a known bug. That has been unfixed for nearly a year.

I`m not sure if youre right..
I use three GeForce 8800GTX Cards (each 768MB) and an Ageia PhysiX Accelerator (3x PCIe for GeForce, 1x PCI for Ageia).
The GeForce itself has one SLi connector (for the second card). If you bridge card one and two, theres no bridge free for the third one! The Ageia card is for what you discribed: Extra calculation (physical and mass environment) but do not need to be connected physical with the GeForce (done internal via bus).
The third GeForce will be always a standalone (independent) card (imho). I don`t know a way, to use triple Geforce 8.. even none for GeForce 7 .. (think it can be done only by external hardware), or is there a way to enable SLI functions without a hardware bridge between them?

But nevermind, this is not the main problem :P (more important: to get the boxing chars synchronized).

Any ideas how to solve the problem:
Mob change the direction and is out of sight -> how to move the Alt back to the mob ?

UNfortunetly wow has no facing commands, so other then manualy moving your alt or binding the left turn right turn keys to just that toon, I dont know.

One way this can be done is to have all of your chars except your main be slightly "back" from the fight. You can have them face your main by giving them a follow command (and stop moving by giving them a move command).
Make sure none of your chars are on follow at the start of the fight. While fighting the mob, I usually walk through it, and turn it around - it then has its back to my entire group (this is esp good for BC stuff, as lots of mobs have AOE type attacks that happen to the front). This way, if I back up it keeps the mob out in front of my other characters. If there is danger and I need them to come towards me, I just hit follow (which does put them right in the center of the mob and not facing) - then I give them a backup command, and I'm good to go again.
