If you're like me, you're desparate for more keys to use to control your toon.

Some people have bought the X-Keys pads. I like those, but I wanted something simpler.

So I got an older Logitech G-15 Gaming Keyboard that has 18 keys on the side.

I started using the Numeric pad on the side as well, thinking 'Cool! 15 more keys to use!' Well, no. Actually. It's a seductress... taunting you with 15 keys UNTIL YOU HIT THE FREAKING NUM-LOCK!!

Then, in the middle of battle, those keys go away all of a sudden. Further, they're tied to the arrow keys and other annoying keys. So my alts are spinning in place instead of issuing tightly controlled kill-shots.

Yes.

The Numlock is my enemy.

So I disabled the key. Entirely. Now I can use all the keys on the numeric pad without them EVER freaking out for no reason.

Follow this link and you can do the same...

I've never done that. I have hit the windows key right after pulling a boss though..... not cool.

easy solution...
Don't put any combat things on it ( I use mine for food/mounts, etc.) or...

Grab a screwdriver and pry that sucker off.

Now I have a G11, so I don't worry about it and have 3 banks of 18 keys to the other side.

Yeah, the logitech G series are awesome. The G11 and the old G15 Gaming keyboard both have the 18 keys on the side (with the three modes, so you actually have 54 keys).

They both have the switch that disables the Windows key as well. LOVE that key!

This hack just gets rid of the last problem I was having with the keyboard - my numpad macros F'ing up when I hit the NUMLOCK button.

Couldn't deal with that, so I treated it like the keyboard does - I just turned it off.

Stupid NUMLOCK.
