Ok so I got into the Beta and was playing around with a Death Knight. I really like the class its very fun. But I am now wondering with this new tank class, and the other changes to tanking classes what are people thoughts on which tanking class would be best for multiboxing. One thing I can see that I like for MB-ing with a Death Knight tank is Death Grip, being able to yank a mob back to you would be a major perk.

I voted pally simply becuase I don't feel like rolling another tank, plus I've had a pally from day one so I'm partial to them.

Pally all the way! Even with all the changes improving aoe tanking capabilities of other tanking classes I still think nothing can beat a pally when it comes to simplicity and efficient aoe tanking. Dont think the other classes can keep a steady flow of threat generated to an unlimited number of mobs.
Are you serious? this isn't even up for debate. I've been an avid prot warrior supporter and player, and even I will vote paladin.
Warrior tanking abilities are insane atm. I did H SH last night on the PTR without any CC, something I've done on live numerous times, but this time it was OMFG easy. For those of us with warrior mains we want to MB instances with, this is a godsend, but warriors have and always will be the micromanagement tank. We have the most buttons and abilities to keep track of, making us a very flexible, mobile and reactive tank, but a poor choice to have tank MB teams.
Paladins have and will remain the MB tank of choice, it's still easy enough that you can pretty much /castsequence everything.

I'd love to roll a Death Knight to tank for my MB team, but the paladin looks to be unbeatable even if all else were equal due to its buffs. Do DKs get any good buffs? Warrior shouts are absolutely terrible for casters compared to paladin blessings.

I have a geared Feral druid, a complete PVP geared war, and I have a non crit immuned like 465 DEF Pally.
The pally walks all over the other two. Mainly because I struggle playing the other two to there full potential while boxing. The pally like many have said has only a few key things you press making it easy to manage.

You can glyph +spellpower for battleshout if I remember correctly =)
DK has _melee_ speed haste, can't remember anything else atm.
Nah, pala wins due to blessing and the awesome reactive tanking.

Warrior shouts are absolutely terrible for casters compared to paladin blessings.Warriors are not buffbots, we can do one of 2 things, give melee 300 attack power (which is pretty huge actually) or +1000 health. but only if you're in range and only for 2 minutes.
I'll be boxing with DK's too, I'll have every kind of tank at 60+ by the end of RAF, but I already had 2 at 70, so it's really not that big of a deal.
I still love my Pali tank with Shamans, though I am curious about the synergy between a Frost specced DK and Frost Mages. But that's an expirament I'm waiting on atm, I've got a group of mages sitting around waiting on the DK to become available.

It's sort of a loaded question. Generally a DK can be a better situational tank but day in and day out the pally beats em' silly. The new warrior is quite sexy however.

Warriors seem like they're better suited for raiding tanks. I just wasn't sure if Death Knights have any caster buff. It looks like they don't.

I have been playing my warrior since the game first came out, and while tanking in pre bc and bc was fun, I was highly disappointed by the fact that my class was completely replaceable by paladins and druids. I wasn't replaced, but replaceable nevertheless. The new wotlk warrior though got me creaming my pants. It will definetly be worth looking forward to.

But I have always thought that warriors where the best tanks :)The poll is about which tank will be the best multi-boxing tank in WOTLK, not which is the best tank period, or which is your current favorite.

Yes, I know. That is why I said Warrior. AND that I think it has always been the best.

Not sure what gets above the bar to be a caster buff.
DK (in unholy tree) has a talent that will give 12 or 13% extra damage from magic effects. Something like that. Anyway that is as good as Earth and Moon with the druid and you get it from your tank.
Not saying that DK is better than pally or that their buffs are better overall... just bringing their damage buff into the discussion.
