My original plan was going to use my dual boxing accounts and create a 2v2 team to hopefully obtain a good rating. However, after getting up to 60 with my mage/warrior team it just seems too clunky to work. We have to move everywhere together, its hard for one toon to adapt to certain situations, etc.

I was just wondering if anyone has had luck with arena's and specifically the 2v2 bracket.

I'd say impossible .. It's waaay too complicated and I really doubt any have had success.

I would say if you were a hardware solutiong it might be a bit easier to pvp at least with a kvm to swtich to differnt computers if one of the accounts dies. Also having multiple monitors.

? there are plenty of duel boxers/multi boxers in arena with over 1700+ rating so I bet they beg to differ and so do i.

2v2 is full of counter comps :) I played around with it a bit at the 2k rating (play on a friends team before PR was a factor) and it just isn't worth it and/or fun.

With dualboxing pvp, you have all the disadvantages of a 4-5box team: Fear, Aoe, facing and following limitations, inability to adjust strategy quickly, etc. and you lack 4-5 boxing's main advantage - Burst. Susre you can focus target, run an assist train, but you won't have the power to instakill. And you'll be facing nothing but comps that work very well together, like War/druid, Lock/preist, etc.
