So....
Ive just this minute finished multi-boxing 1 priest and 4 mages and now im just starting hunters. Im currently just setting up my macros but noticed they carried over from my mage and priest chars. when i try to edit these macros for hunter use, its changing all the macros on my mage and priest. How can i set this up so that my macros save for each specific char???
Please help.

You are going to need to make character specific macros.

You need to make sure the character specific tab is selected (circled in red in the above pic). Anything in the general tab is account wide.

suppose someone did that and wanted to move all of his macros into the character-specific tab. is there a quick way of doing that or do you have to manually make each macro again and assign them to actionbars and/or hotkeys again?
edit: nevermind. found the answer to my question here: Possible to move macros between generic and character specific? Also, how do I get more macro slots? ('http://www.dual-boxing.com/forums/index.php?page=Thread&threadID=13437')

Copy the file called macros-cache.txt from World of Warcraft\WTF\Account\ACCOUNTNAME\ to World of Warcraft\WTF\Account\ACCOUNTNAME\SERVERNAME\CHARAC TERNAME\
or just open them both up and copy-paste the contents from the first location to the second location.
