Hi everybody,
I've just bought got a battlechest for nearly nothing and I thought I might try out the new RAF.
I've read a lot of post in this forums and I decided to do a combo spriest/warlock.
Now after playing for a few days, downloading Multiboxer v2 as an addon as well as messing around with my bindings, there are several things I have been wondering about:
1. Should the priest or the warlock be the main?
2. Should my priest be discipline or shadow?
3. Should I use focus? (I am mostly using /assist at the present time)
4. Is there any priest/warlock guide? (I didn't seem to find any so far)
5. I want the priest to buff himself when pressing alt + key and buffing others, I've tried modifying a macro on this forums but i can't seem to be able to do it:
"#showtooltip Power Word: Shield
/cast [target=mouseover, party, nodead] power word: shield; [target=party1,nodead] power word: shield;[modifier:alt, target=(myself),nodead] power word: shield;"
Thanks for your help

1.) Priest and use healbot incase you need to throw heals it will be easier
2.) Shadow
3.) I use
/target [target="Main", nodead, help, exists]
/castsequence [target=targettarget] reset=8 DOT, DOT, DOT
4.) not that I know of
5.) this might work here
/cast [modifier:alt, target="Main"] power word: shield
/cast [modifier:alt, target="Alt"] power word: shield

I do it the other way around as in the beginning I figured I would rather have more direct control of the pets. Warlock is the main, SPriest is the slave. So far, at level 32/33 I've found that I'm not really in need of heals much. Things just die way so fast that they rarely get to hit either toon. I might switch them around when they get a bit higher, but for now it works great.

I do not play this comp but I would use the warlock as main for the above mentioned reasons. Healing should be easy with two players. Setup a heal spell for each player on two different keys and then you dont have to worry about targeting. I use the numpad with 5 shamans and have a key dedicated to each shaman.
Just use something like this and substitute the MainTunePlayerName for your player name:
/cast [target=MainTunePlayerName] Renew()

1. Should the priest or the warlock be the main?
Priest.
2. Should my priest be discipline or shadow?
Holy.
3. Should I use focus? (I am mostly using /assist at the present time)
No. /assist is better. It must be because I use it ;)
4. Is there any priest/warlock guide? (I didn't seem to find any so far)
/shrug. There's not much to know really, is there? You can probably work out which spells synergise well.
5. I want the priest to buff himself when pressing alt + key and buffing others,
Just download SmartBuff.
Seriously, all the things you're asking are *entirely* personal preference, and if you ask 5 multiboxers you'll probably get 6 different answers.
It might help if you said what you intended to do. I went with Holy for the priest assuming you want to get into instances as two members of a five man team - nobody's going to say no to an effective holy priest - but if you're just going to quest your way to 70 anyway then it doesn't make much difference - a destro or demo lock with a shadow priest (because instant damage is generally more important than dots when you're grinding through quests) might not be a bad idea.

I run 2 warlocks + 1 priest, with the priest as the lead. I do this because I intend to raid with the priest eventually, and I want to get used to her abilities (not that the group usually needs much healing, since stuff dies very quickly.) And my main is a warlock so I already kinda know how they work. So yeah, a lot depends on what your end goals are for the characters.
