[WoW] Background downloader updates for the upcoming 3.0.1 patch

intrestingly enough the background downloader has been somewhat broken in the UK.

I have 5 seperate installs of WoW 3 on 1 directory 2 on the other all named diferently. On my main install--started the launcher and worked fine. On my second it said already installed but it isnt. Any way around this?

Not a big filefront fan. Even premium doesn't work well with FIOS for some reason. If anyone else is having speed issues with filefront, it may be worth playing around with all of the links listed on http://www.wowwiki.com/Patch_mirrors ('%20http://www.wowwiki.com/Patch_mirrors')

My guildie, (Pre boxing guild) Nebshar runs http://a.wirebrain.de/wow I get a pretty good download rate from him. Worldofpatchcraft.com was giving me 2.5mb/s for WotLK Beta. I usually just fish around and see which is faster. ;)

Funny as hell. Filefront ended up being the fastest one for me today.. /embarrassed... :cursing:I'm on Verizon FiOS here, too, and it's usually better than anywhere else. Caveat: they dynamically assign mirrors transparently, so you may get a bad one every so often. :P

haha so true. One day it tops out at 50k/s right now it's toping out at 3.3mb/s. ;D

Anyone have a link to the updated patch file (from 10/6)? Haven't been able to find it poking around on filefront or anywhere else.
