I'm new to octupus and multiboxing in general. I've followed the guide to setting it up and everything is working great apart from selecting targets (WoW).

Im able to do just about anytihng I want at the same time in game with my mouse however Im unable to select the same target between the two clients I have running.

Whenever I do select a target, its not selected with the other client. When I then go to select it with my other client it deselets with my original one.

Any help would be great. Thanks in advance.

Did you enable mouse broadcast ?

Yeah everything is enabled, everything is clicking simultaneously. I think I've figured out what it is now though. Since my 2 wow clients arnt synced exactly ( the characters arnt exactly in the same place) its clicking on a different point in each client, therefore selecting/deselecting everytime I click. Is there a way to solve this or do I just make a /assist macro?

Thanks

Why are you trying to select a target with both at the same time? There's a reason 99% of us use /assist macros. ;)

I assume your using follow to navigate arround your chars?

For every spell you have, you can make macros like:

"Fireball"
#showtooltip
/cast [target=MAINCHAR] Fireball

This will cast on MAINCHAR's target - If its cause you wanna loot - I can't help :p

Thanks a lot.

Sorry to have bothered you both. I am still very new to multiboxing.

Nah, no bother. :) I figured it might be something like that. Go check out our macros section. Some of the hardest part of multiboxing is getting the /assist and /follow stuff working well. Casting spells is the easy part.

Good luck!
