View Full Version : EU Paid Transfers not working 100%

Just a warning to anyone planning on transferring teams on EU realms anytime soon, seems to be problems with completing the transfer process as payments are getting rejected or web pages throwing up 404 errors. I was transferring 4 Shammies and a Pally from Bronzerbeard to Draenor last Wednesday, 2 of my brave shammies made it across no problem but the other 3 cowered under the might of Blizzards transfer system and never got there.

Suffice to say 3 chars are now in limbo along with seemingly many other players (according to the Technical Support forums) suffering the same fate. It's not a funding problem on my side and my bank have confirmed no issues so it's definately a Blizzard problem (this is the same account that pays my monthly sub) which seems to have rolling on for a few weeks.

Just a warning to others who are contemplating a transfer in the near future, all of your team may not make it!

The issue here is probaly an safty meassurement fromm blizz. Most likely something they have put in to ensure no duplicate money transferes, and to prevent fraud.

Cancel the remaining characters that the transfere is stuck and redo the transfere. The card u have used might be blocked for a day though..

I've recently had the same issues. Apparently, according to the billing and payments support line it is related to having multiple accounts on the same card.

Just give them a call and they can lift the block on the card if you explain which accts are affected (and wait an hour).

Frustrating, but get-roundable....

Cheers guys, have sent some emails to Blizz over the last few days but no response - will call instead, hopefully will have more success.

ive had the same problem indeed transfering 4 toons
2 went ok
the 3rd gave the rejected error

phone blizz, mentioned this problem, and mentioned which 2 accounts needed to be transfered still (the old account's name's)
and they lifted the 'block' and i could continue 1 hour later

its indeed a security measurement... to prevent credit card abuse
