Hey guys, this is my very first time dual-boxing and I am having an awesome time doing so. I went with a Shaman and a Warrior, simply because I think they support each other decently and they are the only 2 classes I haven't played yet. With that said, what do you guys think is the best spec for my Shaman? They are now both lvl 15 and I have yet to spend any talent points on my Shaman cause I'm not too sure what would be best. Should I:

A) Spec him Elemental, that way I can kill mobs much faster, spamming lightning bolts as my Warrior does DPS.

B) Go Resto. I'll kill mobs slower but I can just follow my Warrior around dropping totems, auto-attacking for added DPS, and healing my Warrior, hopefully with little down-time.

C) Don't think it's a good idea to run double melee but enhance? Even now I sometimes have trouble positioning my Shaman for melee, so I'm leaning closer to Resto or Elemental.

What do you guys think?

I'd go with resto, he will turn your warrior into the energizing bunny.

hmmm i was thinkin this too, however the toon i wanted to gift levels to was a shaman i already had on my main account so i dont know if i want to do it this way then have 2 shamans (bit of a waste isn't it?

A waste? Well that depends. It depends on if you want a power house or if you want two 70 (soon to be 80) toons of different classes. For me, I prefer to multibox different classes so that I can say I have them. However, a shaman group is a powerful thing and in PvP will do a great deal of synergy and damage. So really you have to decide if you want various classes or a rockin PvP team. Up to you :D

well i can only do 2 at a time for now, till i get the hang of it, i dont have a war, and my shaman is 32 was just going to gift the levels to my shammy or i guess i could do a priest/war or priest/rogue or something then when the other toon on the other account is the same level as my shammy then just run with it and my shammy right? doesnt' have to be the same toon they've leveled up with just as long as it's within the 5 level requiement right?

i'm having difficulties running same classes dont know how i'd run 2 diff classes lol so much to try to figure out :(

Any other opinions for a good spec for my Shaman? I have one person who suggests Resto so far.

Pure Resto would probably be a waste - at least at first when you "solo" everything. When you start to 5-man you might want a Resto-specced shaman to heal full time, but to begin with I'd go with Ele/Resto. That way the shaman will still do decent dps while being able to heal the warrior decently too.

Go resto.

I'd go with resto. I 2 boxed a warrior/resto shaman for the longest time. If you want you can go part way down into either elemental or enhancement if you want to speed up leveling a bit by adding some extra dps, but I'd go with resto.

I would go elemental if you are just questing in normal areas and not doing instances. The idea is to drop mobs fast to finish quests asap. I leveled my original elemental shaman + a rogue this way and had no problems from 1 to 70.

I'd like to suggest that enhancement is not a good idea. As you've mentioned already positioning two melee classes can get annoying, and autoattack breaks /follow.
As resto you would want to use totems that are beneficial to the warrior, so he gets heals plus buffs. As elemental you'd probably want to use totems that are beneficial to the shaman. I'd lean towards resto myself, but it's up to you :)
