First I'd like to say thank you to all of you whom have taken the time to post here. The information I've found so far has been amazingly useful. I went from one computer on the desk and one computer in the closet to two computers, side by side, running synergy. I have yet to begin my first Dual-Boxing characters in WoW (this weekend i'll likely start them), but I absolutely LOVE what this has done for me just in the way of usefulness.

I am experiencing one weird issue, though. If I am holding forward on WoW when I mouse off that screen my character will "stick" and keep running forward. Even upon returning to that screen, its as if the button is stuck. I have to tap it to free it. Same goes for space bar on a flying mount, for example, he'll just keep flying up.

I was able to correct the game minimizing problem i was having, i was hoping there was a simple fix for this as well.

Thanks !

That is not really a problem with Synergy, but due to how the keyboard input is handled by the PC. When you press a key, keep it down and then release it, the keyboard data will look like this: 'key down, pause, key up' and not like the key repeated all over. If the 'key up' never is sent, as far as the other system is concerned it is still down.

You can get really mindnumbing effects if you hold down CTRL, ALT or SHIFT while you switch the destination system by the way :D

Ah, hehe. Yeah I could see that being a problem. :)

So theres no work around other than just being careful? :)

Use separate and kb broadcasters :) Or, modify synergy.......... its open source.
