I have reached 1650, but didn't keep that rating for long. I keep running into teams that tear me apart. They pole hump out of los after I have taken one player down and won't come out until they have them rezzed. They do things I wouldn't see being able to counter in the arenas. I ran with a healer for a bit, but it seems that the same style play wins. I'm at around 900 spell dmg and 360 resil, but I just don't know what to do.

if possible, see if you can run with a priest as 5th

You say you often take down the first player, and then they just hug a pillar and wait for you - imo, go to the corpse of the fallen player, drop your totemfarm and simply wait untill your nuke is ready again. Let time work for you, instead of against.

If they have stealthclasses, wait for the reveal buffs. When it pops, pick it up and see if there is anyone lurking around alone. If not, then send in the priest - if you can get off 1 fearbomb, and get even one player into the open, nuke it. If you can get the resser first, this is ofc great - if not, position yourself so that he cannot start ressing anyone, and simply wait for another fearbomb to be ready.

And for the record, I HATE pillarhumpers :( but, to be fair, hunters and possibly other ranged classes would rip anything apart in arena if there were no pillars.

I lost to some pillarhumpers in the nagrand arene last night, they only had four players......
I sign again, and its Ruins of lordaeron.
Its the same team, and they take the ever-so-famous box position.
After a 1hour wait, their mage comes 4yards to close to me, and i know he has blink on cooldown.
BOOM! then i corpsecamp his ass, waiting for my cooldown to be ready. They try to ress, but i watch 1 resser and my healer the other.
My healer goes out long right to fish for them, and their warrior charges in.... He dies, and then i camp 2 corpses.
Rest of the fight was a pure mop up.

Game lasted 1hour 4minutes, and gave me 28 points...
HELL IF I MOVE! When i just got LoSed in an other arena.

I can't count the times I've corpse camped. It looks like keeping a positive outlook might also help out some. I guess after having to replace my alternator on my car yesterday I wasn't in the right mood.

I've been watching Ellay's live feed and I see when I have problems. Ellay moves like he's playing one person and I'm still moving like I'm multiboxing.

call these guys Pillar Humping LoS Queers!

Reallize you are in control first.

As a Quadbox shaman team with a healer, people fight on your terms. If you notice Ellay is a little more aggressive its because once you get geared and feel confident...you can make a mistake and recover.

While your damage is nice, your resilience is still <400 and I imagine your HPs could use a boost too. Make them play on your terms. Make sure you have 2 of your 4 toons with earth bind totem keybound. I use my main and a follower. This allows me to keep 1 tremor down, but believe me with earthshock and the earthbind, these Pole Huming LoS Queers are running for their Lives.

Watch your mana since you probably only be able to use shocks and keep your totems fresh. The goal of the game is to keep them in combat...Earthbind works great for that and wait for the nuke. When they are attempting to waste my time like this, I dont use the nuke unless its a 100% kill. I usually shock them down to 50% and then blow the nuke.

Frost Shock + 3XEarthbind >>>> Pole humping.

these talent alone are just annoying, but in combination they bring the pain!

Sounds like a plan. I'll get some resil enchants going.

hunters and possibly other ranged classes would rip anything apart in arena if there were no pillars. Correction: hunters and other ranged classes would be ripped apart by multi-boxed shamans if not for pillars ;)
