I recently bought a extra account that now has triple experience, i want to start multiboxing.. I have spent the last 2 days searching throught this site cause EVERYONE links me here when i ask about multiboxing but it seems to me that you have alot of broken links.. Anywayy

I have a mage at 39 and a priest at 39

I need macros from someone who can help me start up a priest and a mage to get them to both work effectively, My only problem is that all these codes and instructions on how to set it up, the first thing i tried.. Octopus is the most complex piece of software ive seen. It wont start it simply gives me errors so i gave up. Im looking to getting keyclone and im willing to pay for it but before i do i need to know:

Can i use my mouse to accept quests on both characters without having to alt tab and accept them.. Personally i dont want to ever have to go on my alt screen to see.

Im planning on doing this with 1 computer. The only problem im having is lag, I dont know whats up but i suppose i can buy a new graphics card,

My main problem im having is that and the fact that i dont know how to set up keyclone for just 2 characters on 1 computer cause ALL the guides have to do with seprate computers and more than 2.

If you have any tips or info please post, Thanks!

I use octopus I got it to work with 2 accounts on 1 comp same screen. Currently duel boxing warriors :D.. Cuz no one else is. But they are a bit on hold write now as I go full hardware. Cuz I will be pvping with 3 shamens.

Make sure you go through the setup for octopus it's real simple and yes you will need to play with any program for a few hours to figure out what you want to do. You need to be willing to try some things out on your own. Trial and error that's how we learn. That's how I figured out octopus. I will get you some links.

for quest sharing u can share and accept quests with a macro clickies and pass it to your second client /acceptquest()
for the lagging part am not sure what kind of pc's u have but most likely any average pc's compared to todays market can run X2 wow clients fine, if u ran in trouble can always do some graphics tweaking.
as for last question, if u able to setup keyclone for 5 toons, u can do it for 2, its simple once u try it, and ppl here on forums are kind , not to mention there always wiki to read and some guides :)

gl and welcome to the family

G'evening Timpyroz and welcome to the forums!

yes, using keyclone you can toggle mouse-click-passing on and off using a hotkey you specify.

for interacting with the quest givers, you would drive up on your main with your alt(s) on /follow. the camera on all your characters would normally be roughly the same... all the way out being most preferred. drive up with the QG on one side, then toggle the mouse-click-pass on, hear the 'up' tone, then click... don't move your mouse and watch as it jumps from screen to screen clicking in the appropriate spot. then hit the hotkey and toggle mouse-click-passing off.

i use this fairly regularly while 5 boxing.

if you have any other questions, please feel free to drop me a note.

have a great night and welcome to the addiction,

Rob (keyclone developer)

it'll work as expected with numerous classes... the only problem you will encounter will be the increased complexity of trying to squeeze numerous keyboards into one

if you have any questions, please feel free to drop me a note.

have a great night,

Rob
