I am pretty new to this and I use a key cloner with no issues.
Setup is rogue main, warlock secondary.
My main issues are as follows...
1) I use the following macro on my secondary to start
/target focus
/follow
/assist
/stopcasting
2) After 1-2 kills my secondary char stops following my main and I have to set "follow" again

3) My only other macro is this one
/cast [target=focus, nodead, harm] Shadow bolt

4) It seems very cumbersome so far constantly having to re-follow, loot the right items, depending on the quest, etc.

5) Also in window mode WoW is much darker and I cannot uncheck "use desktop gamma". Any ideas on this?

6) Can anyone recommend a set of better macros and/or tell me if I am doing something wrong? It's been hard for me to find any combo like mine and also the macros to use with it.
There is a lot of information but it seems convoluted and doesn't really elaborate much so any help would be appreciated.

for the follow issue try using Multiboxer addon

Multiboxer ('http://www.dual-boxing.com/forums/index.php?page=Thread&threadID=7195')

when you set it up it will cause the secondary char(s) to automatically reset follow on lead after combat ends :)

hope this helps

1&2) Meleeing breaks follow, so when you assist with your warlock and a mob gets close, his follow breaks, to prevent it, try using /target targettarget instead. Your warlock doesn't have to melee.

3) You'll need to do this. Otherwise your warlock will try to shadowbolt your rogue.
/cast [target=focustarget, nodead, harm] Shadow bolt

4) As you perfect your macro systems and get used to the process of looting, it will become much less painful. Most of the annoyences you'll experience now are all overcomeable.

5) Try setting the gamma in your desktop settings higher.

6) For a dualbox (2 chars) using focus to leader your rogue is overkill. You could just change your follow macro into

/target <insert name of your rogue>
/follow
/targetlasttarget
/stopcasting

and for your dps spells for example:

/target <insert name of your rogue>
/cast [target=targettarget,harm,nodead] Shadowbolt
/targetlasttarget

This will leave focus open for other things, for example, make a button that causes the warlock to focus the rogues target (enemy) and make a chainfear button that fears the focus target while you can dps the target you have with your rogue with shadowbolts. As an example.

Additionally, channelled spells will break follow, i discovered this fact on my arcane mages
