I'm looking for a monitor only switchbox...

I currently have two monitors on my main PC, for dual boxing I built another system and want to put it on the 2nd monitor instead of 2 on the main PC, however I want this on a switch so I can flip back to my dual monitor config when I'm not gaming...

Any suggestions on a product that will do this without requiring keyboard/mouse to be plugged in which is where I run into problems with most KVM's.

You were probably expecting something more high tech but I use these even with my 30" Dual Link displays.

They do degrade the signal a *bit* - so if you are going to run dual link DVI out near the max (around 10 feet with regular cables) then be wary of trying to push it to 15 or 20. At normal distances, everything should be fine.

If you buy more then 3 or 4, you can get a discount.

They don't do VGA but there are PLENTY of A/B Boxes out there that work fine - check Monoprice.com - I have no doubt they have plenty.

My 17" monitors have multiple inputs and I just use software to turn on and off the displays such that it auto switches when it detects a signal present on DVI but not on VGA or vice versa. The 30" monitors are single DVI only and do not support that - hence the switches.
