I just started dual-boxing yesterday using Keyclone on one machine, and was surprised by the amount of success I had starting it. You see, I rerolled to Akama (PVP, horde) from Moonrunner (PVE, alliance), where I was raiding with my shadow priest, so a friend could get me into a T6 guild. I decided to stick with a priest, but to level faster (and have a herb/alch alt), I decided to do the RAF thing with myself. So I made a mage and was trying to play it on a laptop with the priest on my desktop. Well, that didn't work out very easily, so I found this site, where I found Keyclone, and it fits my play style, just clicking to do stuff with the priest (what I know how to play well) and using the numbers across the top of the keyboard for the mages macros (just follow and whatever bolt is most powerful right now).
As you can see, I didn't exactly make this that easy for myself. Some threads here were recommending PVE servers for less hassle, starting out with all the same class (the different cast times and cooldowns are going to be hard to manage), and the mage's only movement is based off of /follow, not any keystrokes (this makes it easy to split them up in town, but targeting running mobs is a pain).
So I'm just looking to see if anyone as any advice for me that I may have missed. Or if you just think I'm crazy ;)
