Hello all!

A few weeks ago I started thinking about leveling another toon to 60 using RAF and a new account to instance boost with one of my high level characters to then gift levels to my shaman (lvl 40) and priest (lvl 30) but then I hear about multi boxing, see the blue clarification thats its legal, atleast for the moment and I google multiboxing wow and get a link to here, I spend the next 3 days reading the wiki, the various guides and forum posts, I then bought keyclone, set up my 3 box setup and now a week on I have a team of 3 level 30 shamans with less then 25 hours /played.

Now onto my question, having reached level 30 one of my shamans is getting deleted and my level 30 Priest is joning the team at least until level 40 when my 40 shaman can rejoin (or not and and he can get gifted to 60), so has anyone played a 2 shaman+1priest team, how is it 40-60 if so?

I'm quite liking it so far, the priests holy so in 5 levels time Lightning bolts and smite will all be on 2 sec cast times, also being holy I have the bonus of holy nova and with a priest I have a very able healer+shields and spirit of redemtion could save a full party wipe, my plans are to put the priests next 5 talent points into spirit tap which means when the shamans go oom the priest can heal any damage and still be gtg when the shamans are again or can kill the mob/s as the shamans drink.

Can anybody see any problems with this setup and how do you think it would perform in later levels?

Also can I expect to see my time per level stay about the same at around just under to over an hour or it will it start to increase dramatically at *X* level?
I'm just about to start the quests in 1k needles but I am really unsre what the 3x XP/XP curve means above 30.
I ask because if it jumps to 2hrs+ a level before 50 then I may just transfer a toon off my vet account to a new one so I can 4 box and boost them all in instances

Thankyou for any advice or criticisms you have in advance

Post has been shortened so its no longer a wall of text with no point to it and fixed grammar and
spelling, sorry to anyone who read the atrocity before I edited it, was
in a rush to leave for work.

Thanks

Why delete the shammy? Just leave him at the character selection screen for if you decide to change your mind.

Beause I already have a level 40 shaman on that account that I leveled long before multiboxing and the 30 shaman is currently taking up my 10th slot that will be needed for a DK, also that lot can be used for a fresh levling toon to give 2 more chars 3x XP after my first team is 60,when the new team gets to 30 I can then use 2+my already leveled to 30 hunter(although hunter may get deleted, no enjoyment from the class for me) to get them all to 60 then can transfer toons over to slave accounts and give myself some more free 60s to box with.

I am probably aiming for a 3x shaman team,2x mage+1x priest team and possibly a druid+X+X team aswell as my toons that are already levelled, 70 Warrior, lock and rogue, 68 druid,64 paladin and mage to add to teams as and when I wish, will probably try tank+2dps team and get a random healer and dps in for some instance fun at 70 and for battlegrounds I'll use a wide variety of mix and match to farm honour gear, arena will most likey be competitive setups, so resto druid+Warrior for 2v2 or warrior, resto shaman/druid and ele shaman for 3v3 or mage+priest for 2v2 again or priest, mage and rogue for 3v3, will be difficult to play agressive melee, agressive caster and healer/hot healer at thesame time but if done well could really pay off I think, also I will be trying 3 shamans to see how that goes a will be easiest to coordinate but least challenging to get to higher rating IMO.

If you're only 3 boxing, I'd suggest going for a pally as a healer - priests are a bit squishy in PvP, unless you're disc spec and have a lot of resilience.

Cheers,
S.

S.Good points there, can always use my high level pally for that for when I get there I suppose, so does anyone know about the time per level from questing whilst 3 boxing with triple xp at 30-40, 40-50 and 50-60?

I just recently leveled a dual warlock team to 60 and it only took me about 2 days of /played. Honestly as long as you are questing you shouldnt see a huge difference in the time it takes to make levels. At the higher levels I was making between 15-25k per yellow/orange quest turn ins.
