Hey I'm fairly new. I join today, and am attempting to dual-box. I have two accounts, and Keyclone.

My problem? When I enter the world on my character, my game crashes and I get the fallowing:

================================================== ============================
World of WarCraft (build 8606)

Exe: C:\Users\Seth\Games\World Of Warcraft\WoW.exe
Time: Sep 9, 2008 8:47:09.033 PM
User: Seth
Computer: SPATTERSON-PC
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This application has encountered a critical error:

ERROR #132 (0x85100084) Fatal Exception
Program: C:\Users\Seth\Games\World Of Warcraft\WoW.exe
Exception: 0xC0000005 (ACCESS_VIOLATION) at 0023:004BD395

What the hell happened? I was able to access the game right before I got my second account, not one hour earlier. Any idea whats happened? I appreciate your responses.

I'm pretty good at guessing names. You sound like a Seth to me...

onto more serious matters give me a sec to do a quick bit of research

what addons are you using? when was the last time up updated them?

try updating and if that doesn't help, try removing(or renaming) your wow/interface/addons folder

let us know if that helps.

Tried running the restore file?
Also did you change anything recently.

I sometimes get that error (or one similar) when I close wow after boxing for a while.
Doesn't really worry me as im closing the game anyway :D

I got that same error when my keyboard was suffering from dehydration. Just give it a nice tall glass of ice tea and that problem should just go away.

i get an access violation any time i type /quit to have all 5 clients logout at the same time. i imagine they are all trying to read or to write to the same place in memory. if i close them one at a time it works fine, no errors.

Are you getting this when running multiple wow clients or just one? If its multiple then I'd try it with just 1 to make sure its working fine.

i am starting to wonder if this is a collision while writing to the various files on exit.

it sounds like somewhere internal to wow, they are doing an fopen and getting back a null as one of the other wows already have the files open.

maybe try exiting your wows 1 at a time

(maybe something to look into for any blizzard types that might be cruising these forums :D )

Are you trying to run both windows in fullscreen mode or windowed mode?
