Anyone see these new changes to warlocks yet? Or have any discussion on if this will be what the affliction tree needs to address its scaling issues? My sense from seeing this is that they are not only aware that affliction needs some attention but also that they are interested in addressing it.

Am i reading pandemic correctly that it basically gives each "tick" of damage a chance to crit? Also is there any cap on how high the bonus for everlasting affliction can go? Am i reading it correctly to say that each tick may increase the overall damage it has yet to inflict by 5% of your spellpower. If drain life and shadow bolt kept refreshing the duration on corruption then it could just continue to get huge bonus % of spellpower over time. Might be really nice for dealing with healers.

I also read that misery now also gives a bonus % of spellpower to mind shear, mind flay, and mind blast... so that should make our shadow friends happy.

Affliction
Eradication moved from Tier 9 to Tier 7 Shadow Embrace (Tier 5) changed to: Your Shadow Bolt and Haunt spells apply the Shadow Embrace effect, increasing all periodic damage dealt to the target by you by 2/4/6/8/10%, and reduces all periodic healing done to the target by 3/6/9/12/15%. Lasts for 12 sec. Stacks up to 2 times. Everlasting Affliction (Tier 10) changed to: Your Corruption, Siphon Life and Unstable Affliction spells gain an additional 1/2/3/4/5% of your bonus spell damage effects each time they inflict damage, and your Drain Life and Shadow Bolt spells have a 20% chance to reset the duration of your Corruption spell on the target. Pandemic (NEW TALENT): Each time you deal damage with Corruption or Unstable Affliction, you have a chance equal to your spell critical strike chance to deal 33/66/100% additional damage. Haunt: Description changed to 'You send a ghostly soul into the target, dealing 645 to 754 Shadow damage and increasing all damage done by your damage-over-time effects on the target by 20% for [DURATION]. When the Haunt spell ends or is dispelled, the soul returns to you, healing you for 20% of the damage it did to the target.'
