- DrewSounds to me like you are playing with Maximizer and PIP and confusing yourself with Snap to Grid...

The "Snap to Grid" is only for laying out your regions. It has nothing to do with hotkeys.

If you define regions Region1-4, and give them hotkeys F1-F4.
Create commands for four clients, Command1-4, and have each one set respectively for Region1-4 and have Maximizer enabled.

When you are focused on Region1 and press F2, the client currently in F2 will trade places with the client in F1. Press it again and nothing will happen. Press F1 and your original client will come back.

Press F3, and F1 swaps with F3. Then press F4, F1 goes to F4's slot, F3 goes back home, and F4 comes to the currently focused region.

This allows you to have one bigger region with smaller regions (or hanging off the screen regions) for alts, and the ability to switch to them for looting, leader changes, etc.
