Ok, so I just watched an Elem shaman pop Thunderstorm on a smart warrior who in mid air, get this, uses heroic leap to land right on top of the shaman. The shaman was ripped apart, of course. Logic would tell us that shadowstep will work the same way, as well as all other intercept like abilities. How about a Death Knight using Death Grip while in mid air to pull the shaman with him? lol. This being a multiboxer forum most of us will have multiple thunderstorms to cast in sequence, but this is bad news for those who don't or are on cooldown.

Just thought I'd put this info out for those who care. Enemy players still have a degree of control while being knocked back.

Here's the source. Happens at about 45% into the video. It's a video about warrior abilities in use. Deep fury is pretty scary stuff.

I can see it now. A add-on what plays scorpion's "Come here", "Get over here" when you use it.

I would assume its the same mechanics but on the Kara prince fight when I dps on my warrior and get the aoe knockback I just spam intercept and its like he dive bombs prince from midair. So yeah charge/intercept will work, and now looks like leap also does. Nice to know. :)

Intervene works as well if you have a friendly nearby and are quick.

It looks like knockback effects in general may be a huge counter to multiboxers in PvP. I guess that optimally all your characters would be stacked together, so they would all get knocked to the same place, but an aoe fear to scatter just a little bit followed by a thunderstorm could be devastating.

The 4 knockbacks ive seen is:

Elemental shaman: Thunderstorm
Mage: Blastwave
Hunter rhino: Just a knockback but not aoe???
Druid: Typhoon

The current thunderstorm knockbacks 20 yards but in order to use it you need to be up close and elemental shamans are easy to blow up so my guess is that it will be hard to use offensive but who knows. ;)

The mages blast wave requires that the mage drop the 41 point talent in frost and imp counterspell wich means he would be a pretty gimp expect vs multiboxers. Tooltip doesnt say how long the knockback is either.. The daze effect negates the point with fear realy since they barley will be moving while feared anyway, but from what you mentioned it was just to spread them! :)

The rhino knockback seems annoying enough but unless the hunter pets get resillience they wont be hard to blow up.

Still havent figured out how the typhoon works and it only knock you back for 5 yards anyway.

Best multiboxing talent wich is HEAVY underestimated is astral plane Silence, fear and stun = 30% less damage taken.

That means it will be extremley hard to blow someone up while dooing a silence, aoe stun rotation.

as long as we have astral plane...i think anything is doable.
