Ok in reference to:

I use ONE keyboard, and ONE mouse. I never have to move my body at all, just my arms at the most to get FULL 100 percent control of any of my 26 guys in under 8 seconds.

Thanks for the recommendation. In modifying my screen configuration, I moved the screen that I had to the far right to the front as shown in this new picture of my set up:

So now I have 26 characters to my front and 6 to my left. Thanks Sam, you have helped me out!

Questions, and suggestions :)

1) you seem to be an avid octopus user, (Great I love software diversity!), what is the key wins for using octopus over other tools? (other then its free :D)
2) For using octopus you still have an asston of keyboard an mice, why? What do you use 90% of the time?

I guess I'm confused on your layout on how you control your characters, throw em in a raid and use the standard /follow /assist type methology?
You seem to have no "main" screen, do you really navigate your main lead character on a 1/4 of a laptop screen?!

I have no main character. I can switch to anyone in under a second with the way I do things. I use one keyboard and one mouse when I am PvEing or PvPing. I use Octopus because it is the best I've found so far. However, I've not tried Synergy so I can't comment there. Other programs that I've tried on dual-boxing.com including ones you pay for, have serious bugs that prevent me from getting the most from my PvE or PvP experience (i.e., I die if I use them as they produce bugs during combat). So 90% of the time, I use one keyboard and mouse. That's what Octopus allows me to do. I have 22 inch screens on the characters that I drive most of the time as the ones I will assist or lead off of. This allows me to get the hit in PvE for the group that I'm controlling during quests first. It also allows me to easily see which groups have what left to kill on the screen using the quest log display for the quest I'm working on. Why do quests at all with 32 characters? Because Recruit-A-Friend gives 3 times more experience per quest regardless of how many characters are in a group. For kills, the group make up determines how much experience is given per kill. The reason I have 4 in each group instead of 5 is because I had started with 16 accounts prior to Recruit-a-friend and wanted to have those 16 accounts get 3 times experience as well as the new 16 accounts. If I would have done it any other way, the existing 16 accounts would not have gotten 3 times experience.

I posted the key differences between Octopus and another program on here (one that you pay $20.00 for) and people jumped all over me about it and most didn't like it at all. They claimed I was being unfair, etc, etc, etc.... So I don't go there any longer. Suffice it to say, Octopus is the best Keyboard replication software I've tried to date and will continue to use it as long as I can.

That makes sense, well 1.3 vs. 1.4 X exp isnt all that big of a deal anyways.

Nice,

If you don't have a main in the game, who do your charcters assist? How do you get them all /following, or targeting the same mob?

sorry, curious :P

I have both Octopus and Keyclone and love them both but I have been using Octopus exclusively for the past two months. The main reason I switched from keyclone is because I have a very big problem with software that requires me to validate against a server everytime I launch the app. If Keyclone disapears or his validation server goes down, then I am stuck with a software paperweight. With that said I do not regret paying keyclone for his great package but I have no reason to switch back after making the move to Octopus.
