Ok ive tried the last 2 hours and searched google/this forum to death and cant find a straight answer.

Just trying to get a basic modifier working at the moment, on my slave machine (priest) I have a shield macro, if im holding left ctrl and press it it will shield my focus, if not the priest just shields himself.

Works fine if I actually hold ctrl and click the button on the slave, or just shield himself without shift, but for the life of me cannot get keyclone slave to shield the focus from my main window.

Ive tried whitelists, adding 2 keystrings (ctrl and no ctrl) etc but no workie. Running normal vista

All my keymap files have F1-F12, CTRLF1-F12, ShiftF1-F2 all mapped, the hotstrings are named 1-58 (matching the 58 keys of my x-keys pro).

Using hotstrings I've never had a problem with modifiers.

Im using pass only hotkeys, but even without it I cant get it to pass right.

If I pass one key to the slave I can get it to use a modifier on the receiving end, but if I send a modifier it cant seem to receive it then.

Guess ill just use simple macros till I work it out.
