OK so i got to 62 by clearing all of zanaga (non gather quests) and some of the Terkkor Forest until i ran out of quests. At this point i was 8 bars away from 63. So I marched my troop back to Hellfire and start what I think will be the first of many grinding sessions of hellfire ramparts. I grinded out all 8 bars dinged and went back to SW to train where I logged. The question is for you guys that get to 70 how many instnaces grinding did you end up doing over questing? Seems even though I am trying to to do almost all non gather quests i can i am falling shorter and shorter each zone i clear of the next level to ding.
Seems at 68 1/2 - 69 i will be out of quests to do!

i ground instances till i hit honored with that faction, then went back and did quests, i found i was 62 before leaving hfp, i was almost 65 before leaving zangarmarsh, and i was 68 before hitting nagrand, of course there are times i went to the areas i said, but as a whole i did a few quests there then returned for more instance runs, also the instance runs and rep grinding allow you to walk straight into the blue pvp gear at 70.
i completed ramps at 59, bf at 60, sp at 61, ub at 62, mt at 63, crypts attempted at 64 mobs beaten easily but no chance at first boss, sethekk halls cleared at 65 after about 8 wipes, cleared wipe free at 66, hillsbrad cleared at 66. no further instances attempted yet, and im 70 now.

I am honored with HH. 3/6k WITH CE. I should walk into SP and clear that up to 5999/6000 and just do 1 quest for the last bit. I intend on buying all 5 piece of the blue PVP to get me a healthy good start at 70. As ramparts at 63 i still CAN NOT defeat the last boss. :( the dps from the dragon ruins me.

yeah ramps was a b!tch, i of course had my epic geared main shammy to run my instances with, so im not saying it will work the same for you, but underbog is by far easier than slave pens, smaller groups, and less fearing/cc.
i also had an ele for boss tanking, and heroism, so im not saying its going to be easy for you, but the best course is instance till honored then quests.
also mana tombs was ridiculously easy, compared to earlier instances, last boss was mildly hard, first boss mildly, hardest part of the instance was the nexus stalkers, they need to go down first and fast.

not sure how you do to not have quests >.<
I''m not boxing 5 but i had no problems leveling in outlands at all. ding 62 in Hellfire, and up to 67 in Nagrand, just dinged 68 and i've done maybe a third of Blade's Edge.
Does mob xp explain the difference? i get more than you do as i only have 2 or 3 toons, but i would have thought that most xp comes from the quests. (~60 x 12k quests per level at the moment)
As dungeons goI have run Ramparts, Blood Furnace, SP and Old Hillsbrad only once.
Are you SURE you've not forgotten any quests anywhere?

I'm scratching my head at how you ran out of quests as well. But if you're looking to grind out exp, try running Ramps of BF a few times. There's some great gear for Shammies in there that will server you well into you late 60's.

There are quests in Zangar and Terrokar that dont open up until you are 64/65 etc.
When did you leave helfire? You might've skipped some quests maybe because you left a tad early levelwise?

58-61 in hellfire
61-63 Zanag - Telkkor.
Again i just hit 63 so i think there qutie a few quests that opened up in Telkkor
I had the same problem, just grind it out in Ramps to 64.
FYI I had to grind the last part of 66 too before I could go to netherstorm & SMV, did this in BF.
Now at end of 69 I have 25% left and just collection quests to do, so i'm finishing off in mana tombs which is an easy clear at this level and around 120k per hour.

Here's a list of all available quests for hordies in each of the three zones you've done - heck, I've even sorted them by level for you! ;)
Hellfire Peninsula - 103 quests:

Zangarmarsh - 66 quests:

Terokkar Forest - 79 quests:

I ran out of quests as well, I ust did instances in between, i soloed them with 4 shammies so you should have no problems with 5.

Do furnace up to and including the first boss until you have five hammers - that should get you to 64 at least and they'll last until you replace them with gavel of unearthed secrets. After that I did underbog up to but excluding the first boss because of the ridiculous amount of sellables (you need herbalism and mining though).
Do that until 67, then go sethekk halls and stay there until exalted with lower city. After that you should have at least half the gold for your epic flyers and you can finish the moneygrind by doing netherstorm/nagrand/BEM/shadowmoon quests and the easy dailies (500g pr day). When you have your epic flyers you'll also be honored with all factions except KoT, which you can do in short time just doing durnholde :-)

Could be, cause I did all the gather quests aswell. I advise you to do some instances then, or like me, do the gather quests.

Grounding totems work wonders to stop a huge chunk of DPS the dragon in Ramparts does, you should get hit by any fireballs :)

Did you do the elite quests? Most of the elite quests are a joke (most of them are 2/3 players), plus the elite quests give really nice xp and gear. The circle of blood in nag gives some really good xp in it, but i was unable to do with my 5 toons (gear wasn't that good). I killed the first 1 no problem and barely killed the second one. The last couple i had help.

This is why I would suggest that you don't start questing in Outland until 60. If you go at 58, you'll run into problems unless you grind instances.

not sure how you do to not have quests >.<
Me either.
Did you perhaps go to outlands early? ( level 58 ) There are SO many quests in old-world azeroth that going to outlands early really doesn't make much sense -- there's not much competition (i.e. pvp) in old world zones like EPL and you're nearly one-shotting nonelite mobs with old world gear as a multiboxer.
My hunters were just barely level 60 and I just did Hellfire + Zangarmarsh and got 75% through 63. Went to terrokar and I'm 64 before I even hit the bone wastes.
Personally if I were you I'd grind rep if you have absolutely no quests you can do. I always like to grind the ogres in Nagrand for Kurenai/Maghar rep (use "kill rep" for kurenai/maghar -- save the beads to turn in for consortium rep). Of course you could also grind the appropriate mobs for Aldor/Scryer rep as well.

Pull the two guards to the top of the ramp so Vaz won't agro you (the dragon will, however).
Use grounding totems to redirect the fireballs (you will have to move away from them as the ground effect still happens) and unload onto the dragon while he's flying around.
When he lands, pick a tank and break follow and get away from the group (FS and turn the dragon away so clones don't eat fire). Tank him like you would in a normal group.
Agro Vaz whenever you so desire.

Try mana tombs. I remember running that alot for some reason. I think there was some gear in there I wanted. Worst case is you get your consortium rep up and your monthly allowances get better.
I went to outlands at 58 and didn't have any problems running out of quests. You might have to man up and do some collection quests. What I really liked was the instance grind once I got to the higher levels. I think cleared the first boss in shadow labs at like level 68.
I have a feeling your are overstating the problem. I am sure there are quests out there. Just not all kill quests.

Ramparts and Blood Furnace are both staples for XP. Blood Furnace is arguably better XP/hour than questing once you are L65 or so. I grind BF until L66 generally, with quest breaks for sanity, gear, or a diversion.
If you started at L58, you have some work to do in instances, and I recommend doing BF and Slave Pens until you nab honored with those two factions. If you can't quite do BF yet, you can easily do Ramparts at L63 with a team of 5. You don't have to kill the last boss if he's proving too challenging, just skip him. The second guy is cake with grounding totems-- spread your team out in a circle around him, spam groundings when available, and just nuke him down.
If you RAF'd and went to outlands at 58... well, not a good call. Plaguelands quests are sooooo groovy with RAF bonus XP, there's no point to go to outlands until 60 under RAF bonus. (Although I have done Hellfire at 58 plenty of times on other teams/characters).

I never ran out of quest most of time quests would go green or gray.
Run BF until 64-65 then go mana tombs to 67-68

I started with instance grinding in HFP, then did quests. Grinding in Zang for CE rep, then did most of the quests. Moved onto MT, then AC, then Old Hillsbrad, and now SH working on getting the SLabs key.
I haven't don't any quests since 62. Probably won't do anymore except for keys and such until I need cash for flying mounts.

Are you running quests with the 70 Shaman (i assume 70 since he mentioned epic) with the group? Having the 70 takes some exp off the mobs you kill along the way.
I think there are some quests in the Bone Waste at 63 also.

I'm sorry to say this man but you've done something very wrong, though its not too late to fix it. As a point of reference my team is halfway through 68 and I still have southern Terokkar, half of Nagrand and everything after yet to go.
The trick is to not go to Outlands till 60, then do HFP and start levelling up via instance grinding. If the dragon kills you then exit the instance before the dragon. If you can get this far then you can also run Slave Pens. Park your guys for a couple days and do this with rested EXP. You'll gain a level or two very quickly. At 65 you can run Mana Tombs which you should do, along with its quests, until you are close to honored with Consortium or really bored. Then do the Hero Of the Magyar questline in Nagrand to access the Auchindon quest for Crypts and you'll be well on your way.
Like it or not you have to spend the time in the instances. I have done 6 runs of Old Hillsbrad as well, including the quests.

Last night i went back and cleared all of terokkar quests all of the but the gather x material, hec i even did the city of light x5 at the same time, was fun moving all at different spots following that elemental. Now the thing is I am now 9 bars from 65. I went back to ramparts and started owning the entire zone rarely got hit and never a death. Here is the thing, when I hit 64 i can start on Nagrand but snce I went to outlands at 58 i always seems to come up about 230k xp short of the next level and run out of quests ( aka the xp from 58-60 btw).
That being said im gonig to move onto CE rep and get to honored so i can get the good 1h caster mace by farming SP/UB not sure which is easier at 64. I am 400g short of x5 epic mounts so thats my 1st priority then go back and skill up my herby mining to 300.
THis is my 1st outland boxing experinece I need to grind out at least 65 and prefered 66 in instance before i start questing again.
