Hiya,

My system is a quad-core, 2.4GHz CPU; 2GB of RAM; an NVIDIA GeForce 8600 GT; and Vista Ultimate. I've read thru/watched the videos in the wiki, and those linked in forums. I'm running five (5) instances of WoW on my machine currently, and my question is...is that it? I still have to setup the four other accounts, obviously, and test the software that'll send the keyboard signals to all fiver instances - but what I've done so far is good right? It just seems like it was too easy. Thanks very much in advance.

I don't know if that's it. You said you read everything so you should have no problem, but I can't read you mind. I could try guessing whether you can figure it out if you'd still like me to.

First off, welcome! I'm by all means not trying to scare you away. Just getting these things flowing through your mind. Theres a lot to do before you can get out and level!

Opening 5 wow windows is one thing, multi-boxing is a whole other thing.
You're still going to have to set up your keyboard broadcasting software, which can be a challenge if you have never done it before.
You're gonna have to make the accounts.. dig deep into those pockets and pay up.. get situated
Figure out what to roll.. Figure out the realm.. The faction.. The races.. Wouldn't want to pick hair you won't like later! :)
Get the names figured out.. Make them in the right order so they show up in party how you want it.. If you're OCD about things like that, like I am.
Get logged in.. make a few macros to start out.. learn to start controlling them all..
Make macros for party invite.. all-in-one accept macro.. spread out macros.. formations.. things to make you look cool......

And I'm not even to the part where you level them up yet.

If you've read and searched, and still don't have an answer.. that's when you can reach for the new thread button.
I guarantee 99% of your questions have been covered somewhere in these forums. Search is your friend.

Again, Welcome!

2GB is never going to be enough to run 5 instances of WoW if you ever plan to get out of the starting zone. Each client easily takes up 500MB of memory or more. Besides the 2.5GB of RAM that WoW will be taking up, Windows will also need some for caching and other programs. About 4GB is needed to run 5 instances of WoW and have some memory left for other apps and Windows.
I myself placed 8GB of RAM for 5 clients, so I could disable the swap file and have a performance increase.
