Hi, I'm trying to get a Mage / Lock dual-box running and I have a 1680x1020 flatscreen as my main monitor, I also have a default dell CVR Monitor, I'm not sure it's size so I just set it 800x600.

I've reviewed many many tutorials and havn't found one dedicated directly toward dual-boxing with 1 display on each monitor. It seems like each tutorial I read is about 5-10 boxing and is more difficult then what dual-boxing should be. Although, the wiki Octopus Tutorial ('http://www.dual-boxing.com/wiki/index.php/Octopus_Tutorial') was closest thing I could find to what I needed, I set my main to w- 1680 h-1050 and 800x600 for my other monitor(not sure it's actual size), Although that tutorial is talking about linking different PCs to each monitor, I'm using 1 PC but trying to split between 2 monitors.

If anyone has a link to a guide, tutorial, or any bit of information that I could use or that I may have overlooked, Please post them here.

Thanks!! ^^

Just a side note: I plan to buy Keyclone's program, I just have not got around to it yet. Octopus is just my test to make sure I'm able to multibox, if it's not so difficult I'll buy keyclone's program.

Same thing, but when you're setting up the Instance for the second monitor, click the "+" button in the Profiles window to change it to Display 2. ;) So when you go into the profiles setup, you'll see a line like this:

[k][ c] WoW (2nd monitor) (localhost:WoW2@play/2)

Side Note: Motion A / B is Mage / Lock just using same things as in the octopus tutorial and will change once I get it working. Tried using search function incase someone has had this error before, I guess I'm the first or everyone else has fixed it themself.

Ok, I got that now I try to 'Run All' instances and it gets me this:

[09:17] Broadcast paused.
[10:59] MotionA - maximize area doesn't exist.

Get this error now, I changed motion a / b to mage and lock, I also just read a different tutorial that says to set zones, I dont really understand what the zones do so I'm not sure what to put mine at or to copy the screen shot.

[11:38]Running 'Mage' @ localhost.
[11:38][C] Game one not found.

I find it amusing when people post their need to buy keyclone, who are you trying to impress? I hope you enjoy your testing!

I find it amusing when people post their need to buy keyclone, who are you trying to impress? I hope you enjoy your testing!Actually I posted that because I was gonna write more but cut it out, I was gonna ask if keyclone and octopus are the same when it comes to configuring maximizer settings, will I need to ask again for help if I have same troubles during keyclone or will it be the same. basicly I'm using Octopus to get the setup down so it wont be 'as hard' for keyclone and so I can get a free 'demo' to make sure I want to pay for it. I figure if I pay for his program, I'll probably get support and it's no offense to yours but probably easier to get going.

I don't see anything wrong with octopus I just think I'll get better results with keyclone.

As to my problem I have managed to get window 1 to open and go to login screen, although it opens on both monitors and not just my main one, The 2nd window will not open when I 'Run All' although it will attempt to run when I click on it in the drop drown menu in instances. It closes after a popup saying directx 9.0c needs to be installed but I have it and I get that error sometimes, possibly because I have too many processes running right now.

EDIT: I can run two wows manually but for some reason it will only load main wow, the 2nd wow gets directx 9.0c error as mentioned above, when I run it with octopus. ?(
