Boxing arena ladder

Hey, Would it be posibel to make a ladder for boxers via some software or would i have to be done manuel if i wantet this to happen ?


I relly like to see how good others are doing stuff and i have my own links for cyclone atm were the ladder looks like this

i know there is a few more boxers the us 3, as i have seen some in av, but i cant remeber there names

But i would love this to be abit more automatik, and i would like to add all boxers from other bgs aswell

I actually had a friend whining to me about:"HOW DO YOU KILL A MULTIBOXER?" on Ravencrest :p He had just got owned by you ;) hehe!


But I like the idea REALLY much!
I can try programming a system where you can upload your armory link, and then I can verify people's rating and add them to a site which shows each battlegroup (both EU/US etc.)

there might already be lists out there. People post compilations of arena data all the time in the WoW forums. It might be as simple as knowing our team names and polling that data which might be much easier then hitting the arena. I'll see if I can find it.

It'd be nice if we could pull the data somehow and identify multiboxers, I think the easiest way currently to query would be to find teams with 4+ Shaman. I know that excludes other team types, but we can manually fill those in.

There was a website on WoWInsider that gathered arena data ('http://www.wowinsider.com/2008/08/28/tracking-arena-matches-with-gnomewarrior/'), and you could poll via group composition.

So I polled "shaman, shaman, shaman, shaman, any ('http://gnomewarrior.com/?go=1&b=3&m=1&t1c1=7&t1c2=7&t1c3=7&t1c4=7')" and got quite a few 'boxer teams. ;)

Well, I did my first 10 games of arena yesterday. Went against a 2345 comp, first arena gear ever and got aoe fear'd (and I'm working on my pvp trinket, =|). Next 6 games were a 3 lock/priest/rogue combo that ran in, lock howl, priest psychic scream, then the next lock howl'd again. we lost all 6. Next 3 games were 2x hunter/priest/mage/shaman and the first 2 I was able to blow up their dps while my rogue friend locked down the healers, the last game the priest came in, AoE fear'd and started blowing up my guys and I couldn't pull it back together in time.

End Result: 1405 rating for 1st week.

Well it didn't find my team ;)

You have to either run the addon, or be seen by someone running the addon. That way it measures per-fight instead of just overall ratings. *shrug*

This is "success", actually.

Make sure you get the gear that you can-- that is, make sure you are starting to accumulate honor and have all the pieces of Blue-rep-based-resilience-starter-PvP-gear that you can.

My team has been hovering around 1800 rating, curently we sit at 1779 in the cyclone battlegroup. My team are the "Ox's" so to say, team name is Your Power Company. Sitting in full wellfair gear atm, buying helmets ( only been 70 for a month =/ ) this tuesday. Yay! I run with a paladin healer, well 2 different friends fighting over the spot currently(both pallies) lol, but their both pro. I'm pretty sure we can break way out above 1800 but I've been leery to play many games until I get my helmets.

I went up to 1700, then saturday I lost 150 rating against full s4 teams. :P

I should be climbing again soon though! And once I get my 4 set piece bonus, I should even be able to beat more of the s4 geared teams. Right now they lock me up too much still. Though even against 2k+ teams, I regularly manage to kill one and then get one or two under 10%, feeling just short, but then I had my burst and my moment, and they usually still just wear me down after that. :( But I'm close!

Vindication(EU) Battegroup is a really bad one though, I regularly face the same team 6-8 times in a row easily because there are no teams playing. Unless I win, then I usually just face them once or twice. :P So it's a tough grou to climb if you're not one of the best teams. Every other team just plays 10 games max because it's so dominated by good teams only.

My biggest problem right now is my inability to dodge queues. I like to play too much and meh, I need practice against good teams anyhow so. :P

Currently at a lousy 1558 rating but my highest so far was 1720 and that was with much worse gear then i have now in fact. :P

( I mean, just compare the team ranking with other bg's. I'm at 1558 and ranked 175. O_o! Such an inactive battlegroup. :P I should probably migrate but, I dunno, like my server. :<

LIke the arena junkies olympics we could start making teams with a coincident string in the names. People would probly copy but I'm sure it would be a nice way to differentiate future teams each season
