They run in different directions even when they follow? How are you passing keys along to your clones? Are you using software like keyclone or autohotkey?
Basicilly your clones should never be running anywhere they should almost exclusively be following your main. Before battle you might put them in a formation so you can see them better or to avoid AOE damage and shift them as needed but when out of combat they should be on follow.
To start off with create a macro like /follow party1 and go from there. As you progress you will tweak the follow and your attacks as you encounter issues. It is an uphill battle of figuring out macro's from here on to 70 and beyond.

Also make sure that you unbind the WASD keys on the slaves. Replacing the keybinding with the arrow keys except for the W which I have bound to a macro that is simply:
/follow focus
You have to make sure to have you're salves set their focus to the master if you want to use that setup. This allows you to still control the slaves in case of a master death, but they never stop following. It doesn't hurt to unbind the auto-run on the slaves as well.

You skimmed over one small guide and tried to start boxing already. ROFLMAO

Also make sure that you unbind the WASD keys on the slaves.
This will probably solve your problem. But instead of unbinding them, just add them to your Do-Not-Pass list in Keyclone.
This way if you change over to use one, you can still move normally.
I'd also suggest adding Shift+W, Ctrl+W, Alt+W (and any other combinations of Shift+Alt and do the same with A, S & D) to the Do-Not-Pass list.
This will help a LOT to prevent "runners" & "spinners"....OHHHH and while I'm mentioning these.. you probably should either unbind, or add the NumLock key to the list too.. Auto Run really sucks when you aren't expecting it. ;)
