Shaman - Thunderstorm changed to 5 yd

You call down a bolt of lightning, energizing you and damaging nearby enemies within 10 yards. Restores 5% mana to you and deals 595 to 679 Nature damage to all nearby enemies, knocking them back 5 yards.
Instant, 45 sec cooldown

Really? When did the change come in? That would suck. Everyone has a 15 yd KB now, why would shaman have it reduced to to lame it is hard to even notice.

Hunter's pet has 15 yd KB. What is the KB on blast wave? I guess it says that the duid KB is only 5 yd. Still very, very lame. Sad panda.

I was just about to post this, guess you beat me to it. I didn't plan on taking it anyways given my lack of pvp and having a tank for pve but this is a pretty big nerf to the spell.

Edit: Possibly it has a really high arch now as opposed to a long distance? Been checking the beta forums but no blue responses as of yet.

I can't get to NS no matter how many builds I do. There is just to many talents I want from the elemental tree to stay at 50.

You guys are looking at it from the wrong angle. This is a big boost for boxers if they nerf knockback effects.

If you get a thunderstorm in the middle of your group with 20y knockback in every directions, it will mean that you will lose follow on some of them. And you wont even be able to do something about it (tremor,trinket ect)

This is actually a good change for boxers. Knockback effects will probably be a huge problem for us.

It is 5 yrds on beta atm. It honestly needed to be adjusted, 20 was OP. Not sure how 5 will play though, have to see.

Blue respons:

Not exactly intended. It's still supposed to have relatively the same knock back distance, just we toned down the knock "up" effect. Should be fixed in the next build.

They wont fly into the same height.. i guess it could be abused to get place you werent suposed to go in Azeroth? or maybe it just put you out of combat for to long...

Blowing people up in the air would have been fun but kinda OP..
