Anyone out there multiboxing on Apple Mac's?

I run three clients on 2 PC's and that runs fine but I am about to buy and apple Mac to do design work on. I am not sure about Mac OS and if there are any particular issues that others have run up against multiboxing them?

There are folks out there doing it, check the software forums for CloneKeys, there is a version thats been continued on by a new maintainer, etc...

Another option that lots seem to use is Bootcamp. Lets them run Winders on their fruit.

I box with 2 macs and a pc. I've not had any issues outside of the normal challenges we face. Clonedkeys (Clonekeys) replaces Keyclone, and Synergy is your friend :)

Make sure to upgrade to an Nvidia graphics card. I think they have 8600-8800 available depending on the model you get.

I boxed up to 4 on a dual G5 with an AGP ATI 850 and did ok under OS X. 5 hurt.

I would like more info on this as well. I have a PC and an iMac and would like to use my PC as my main machine, while having my iMac run as a slave/client. Synergy seems to be confusing me when it comes to cross-OS configuring. If anyone has any ideas/help, that would be GREAT! I tried to download the key broadcasting version of Synergy for both my mac and pc. But couldn't get it up and running. I'm somewhat computer savvy, but I have my limits.

I'm running 5 clients on a Macbook Pro (2.3Ghz, 3Gig RAM, X1600). Cities get laggy and I have to keep the windows overlapped to make it run well.

What I should do is take some time and get my PC running again to offload a client or two and configure Synergy for it. That or convince my wife to let me buy a Mac Pro with 8 cores and gobs of ram. However, I think she would hit me with a nerf stick just for asking. :P

i dualbox on a 2.5ghz macbook pro (when I'm away from my main rig) using clonekeys. both instances running 800 x 600 (windows overlapping) quite high settings running at 30fps each

I'm boxing on a 17 inch macbook pro. I'm currently at 2gb of ram but have upgrades to 4gb coming in the mail tomorrow.

2 boxing is fine for PVE. Some might think PVP would be too slow. probably around 30 FPS on both clients. Higher if I drop the FPS on my background instances.

3 boxing is also just fine for PVE. Probably being a little bit low for PVP though I'm not sure. I'm sure it'd be fine for some people. Probably still hitting 25+ FPS on my main instance with 3boxin

havn't specifically 4 boxed, but 5 boxing was UBER slow. I could go around the world and do stuff but I was probably not going over 10 FPS. I'll update when I get my ram tomorrow.

Oh, I'm using ClonedKeys (http://code.google.com/p/clonedkeys/) and it's got active development thanks to Alphaquam.

I havn't figured out a good system for interfacing my mac with a PC yet, though I havn't spent a ton of time trying.
