I have seen several boxers on the 2 servers that I have been on hit 60 and all be guilded. x5 tem of combo x/y/z. The thing is shortly after 60 A week or so later i see them

1) In different guilds or none at all
2) Solo played in different areas at the same time

This leads to only one thing i can think of that boxers are doing with the RAF bonus.... hmm

Interesting. Now, tell us: why do you think RaF will get nerfed instead of those Accs being banned?

I know why it's going to be nerfed:

Estimate the number of RAF related threads on this forum. my estimate ~100 so far.
Estimate the number of users (actually posting). Dunno, maybe 1000 ? lets take 5000 for the sake of numbers.

Now imagine the WOW Forums/Techsupport Hotline/Emails and all the stuff, and calculate the number of questions/qq/emails/calls everything that every Tom, Dick and Harry on the planet are asking Blizz, with the ratio of 100 per 5000.

Come on, it's obvious! Some Blizz Techsupport manager is BOUND to go all emo and ask his manager to get rid of RAF. For the sake of his employees well being.
Then again, his manager might just tell him "PWNT!!1, qq moar, nub".

Maybe they are being used separately to get gear?
Or because they aren't able to multibox certain instances?

Maybe they are starting up another group to level up. I am debating this myself but have very little patients for doing it again despite how easy it was.

I might level up duals though that is tolerable.

I really doubt they'll get rid of RAF, I bet they are more likely to make the RAF leveling rate the new regular rate once WOTLK comes out. So everyone will be leveling that fast.

I bet the guy who came up with the IDEA fro RAF, is sitting pretty good with his boss right about now.

I bet the guy who came up with the IDEA fro RAF, is sitting pretty good with his boss right about now.

This is what happen.
Big boss man says to little bosses under him:
"We need a way to get new wow accounts and need to make the people that don't play wow and waiting for WAR to play wow and get hook. Find me that reason"
little boss man says to his staff
"Anyone have an idea to get more people into wow"
a nobody "Well we have this rest xp that you get and people love that cause they lvl faster. why don't we make that so you don't need rest xp and you have double xp all the way to 60"
little boss "stupid idea"

next day at meeting
Big boss "does anyone have anything"
little boss man "Well we have this rest xp that you get and people love that cause they lvl faster. why don't we make that so you don't need rest xp and you have triple xp all the way to 60"
Big boss "great idea"

again the little boss man gets all the credit.

I believe that the leveling curve from 60-70 will be flattened somewhat when they add patch 3.x to the game. That patch will also add the new talents and many of the changes that are coming with WotLK. In other words, the people who are flying through 1-60 with RAF will soon be able to go from 60-70 faster as well.

THE SIMPLE SOLUTION:

If you think someone is account sharing -- whether they be multiboxer, singleboxer, RAF'er, WHATEVER -- report them and Blizzard will investigate and ban appropriately.

If you're wrong -- oh well. At least the bases are covered.

Just because you multibox does not put you above the normal rules of gameplay. If they're account sharing or account selling they deserve their just rewards.

If they're playing legitimately, no harm done. :) They'll stick around and you'll feel good that they're playing the game the way it was meant to be played.

Very Dilbert.
I have to disagree. WoW in the Dilbert universe would have the boss wanting to lower XP gains so people have to play longer to get to the same level and thus earn the company more money. On top of that, they would give each class a single 'I win' button and remove all other skills that require any thinking.

Whoa. I just realized that sounds EXACTLY like what happened to Star Wars Galaxies.

The funny thing was i wasn't thinking about dilbert until after Fur made his post.

Consider, too, all of those scrubs that went "OOO ME MULTIBOX. IT EASY. LOZERS DO IT, SO CAN I!" and bought 4 more battle chests, then a week later goes "ah, crap. This isn't as easy as it looks. Screw this, going back to raiding solo." Those are basically freebies that bump Blizzard's bottom line. I can't see them nerfing it. It's just too much free money.

RAF is not going away. Blizzard wants new people who buy WoTLK to not have to avoid the game because of the grind from 1 - 60 or 1 - 70 just to play the expansion. This is actually very smart. I have avoided EvE and several other games because I would be so far behind the power curve just because I wasn't there day 1 and people were so far in the lead (1000+ AA points, etc).

Totaly agree, and i played EvE its ridiculus. You gane "levels" wen your not even playing, there is no exp sistem its just in 5 hr you gan a lvl.
