hi ,

Ive been multiboxing for a while now and my shamans are all sitting at level 69. Level 70 is pretty close and i reserved one copy of the expension a while ago.

Now im wondering if i should reserve 4 more copies ...

Just wanting to know what you guys are planning to do.

I've only reserved 3 at the moment. I'll probably give multiboxin a break when it first comes out so I can take my time and let it all sink in while playing with my wife. Once I've probably gotten something to 80 and messed around with the deathknight I'll get more copies.

Why let someone else make interest off your money?

They're were PILES of TBC laying around when it came out (you can still find collectors editions.. lol).

I wouldn't worry about it.

I'm waiting until the expansion is released, then I will go out and buy 32 copies of it for my 32 shaman accounts. 32 copies times $39.99 (if that is the cost) will be $1279.68 before taxes. If the price is $49.99, then I have to pay $1599.68 in total. However, Frys Electronics usually has the game at a discount when it is released in the first week or two. Will they have 32 copies? Sure they will. When The Burning Crusade was released, they had 100's on the shelves. I'm anticpating the look on the cash register agents face when I bring up 32 copies in a cart and charge them to my credit card. LOL.

I think Gamestop only charges $5 per copy to reserve them. I remember it being that much at the local Gamestop during TBC.

I'm with Fur on this.
I don't think you'll have any problems finding a copy of WOTLK when it ships. And it doesn't make sense for Blizz to manufacture one for every paid subscription right out of the gate. I'm sure there will be enough for the first to go 'round. I'll hold on to my cash until release.

actually I had to camp a few stores to find TBC when it came out in my area. The collectors edition sold for 400 while I was waiting in line(shit you not, some idiot walked up and offered it.) I wish I had bought the collectors haha. Anyways I have all 5 reserved this time and if collectors is available I will buy one just to sell back to people that scramble for it.

There are still some available at Fry's Electronics in West Sacramento.
When did they build a Fry's in West Sac? I always went to the one on I-80 just east of I-5. Alas I moved....

I've pre-ordered, but would never part with money just for the privilege of that!

I pay when they're dispatched.

Why wouldn't you just buy one CD? Can't you upgrade the other 4 accounts online then?

Nah

I have gone to walmart at midnight for ever game i have wanted, and lately they have a hole pallet of it.

I'm sure they will have a movie shipper or two for WOTLK, ( i worked there for four years..)

for BC i actually got a collectors edition, for some reason they had more of those then normal ones.

You probably won't be able to immediately upgrade online, mainly because it pisses off retailers in the traditional channel. After some time has passed, you probably will be able to upgrade via Blizzard's site just like TBC is available now.

I plan on getting one copy to get a DK up to level 70. After that, he will swap into another team. By then I expect the price will drop and/or the expansion will be available on-line.

I bought 2 space TBC CE's at the $80 + tax price to resell when they "ran out". Over a year later, they were selling, brand new, for about $35-40. I took a hit in the cost and laughed it off as I sold them for $40 a pop. The night I picked them all up, someone in line offered me $200 for one and I said no, thinking I would get more. Lesson learned! I will just order my main account's CE and regular copy for account #2. Waiting on CE announcement so that I can pre-order it though.
