I've been reading through guides and wiki pages, and scrolled through the entire PvE Progression thread, but haven't found much discussion on two-man instance runs at-level (i.e., where mobs are still green to your toons).

After a bit of research, I'm trying out paladin / priest and paladin / shaman combos. However, I suspect that a pet class + healer class might do better: probably a paladin / hunter or shaman / hunter.

Does anyone out there have experience with two-manning instance content at level? Are there any guides I'm missing?

I think I remember reading a thread on the WoW forums about a couple of friends who were two-manning dungeons at level. They were running Draenei Hunters.

As a 2boxer you'll pretty much not be soloing much beyond the first few instances; lack of dps or hybrid tanks(hunter/lock pets in particular not being strong enough), then not having enough mana/health to last through the longer bossfights later on(cuz with a tank/healer setup your dps is gonna be a joke and any hybrid dps/healer is gonna be oom quicker or lose the tank to a surprise crit)

I've done it with a paladin/shaman duo. Can take a really long time to clear them out though. Think the last one I was able to do by myself was ST, but I didn't clear all the bosses with just the duo. I tried Scholomance and Stratholme and was unable to get it done at the appropriate levels. Haven't tried any Outland instances.
