...by a 70 Hunter and a 70 Warlock that are, apparently PISSED them off so much with my multiboxing that they've been camping me for approximately 25 minutes now. Wow. I think I one shot their alts a few times, but Ive never had someone SO pissed off at me that they would dedicate so much time just to camp me. Im honored.

Had that before.
Killed a warrior who was killin the same mobs as me (good ol stv) and he came back on his S4 shaman and tried to camp me.
So I just ran back to town and logged my rogue for a while.

Gotta laugh at people who constantly camp you tho, waste of their time.

Yeah, I figure if they want to waste their time sitting on top of a corpse (or in this case, 5), thats fine with me. I can go watch TV. :)

Gotta love it, they think they are wasting your time, when in fact, you could care less. If they spent half the time they are camping you with, in a BG or arena... they might have gotten their moneys worth this month from the subcription.

Zerg folks have been chased for an entire DAY here on Mag from time to time. At least, until about 15 of us show up to resolve the situation in a non-vague manner. That's usually where the oh-so-brave folks mount up on their epic mounts of escape and forget that those abilities are 36-42 yards of death. ;)

Was doing some HFP quests on my shaman about a week ago with a few alliance around when out of the blue a s2-3 geared warrior swoops down and kills me before I can react. Obviously the other alliance in the area must have spouted off about a multiboxer in their area so I spirit rez'ed, buffed up, waited for sickness to clear, and went back. I started dropping every ally in the area for a little payback, and sure enough the warrior swoops down again. This time I was ready and start to unload on him before he got to me. He drops one of my girls, but I don't stop and he's dead shortly after. He sits there without releasing for a good 5 minutes as I begin to camp him in return, most likely crying to himself that he got whooped by some level 61's. This is when I kinda got that feeling of zomgburst that 5 shaman come with.

I still keep my rogue logged off in the area when I'm leveling though. Just in case someone needs to learn a lesson.

i came upon about 5 horde in nagrand last night, 65 priest, 65 priest, 70 shaman in the heroic ele gear (stormsong kilt, the shoulders from heroic slave pens etc), 70 hunter and a 65 warrior. i was watching and instantly dropped all my totems, just before the shaman unloaded with chain lightning, well i dropped him with 2 volleys, a priest ressed him, i stood there for about 1 minute while he was drinking, then thought "screw it" nuked the shammy, then the hunter and left the lowbies alone.

as i made my way back to telaar ( the event happened at nessingwary camp) a 70 s2/3 lock and mage tried to gank me, i got them the first time, then they got me, then i got back to the bridge outside telaar with the 2 guards and they got me again, i full ressed everyone, and dropped them 2 more times before they left. some people just dont give up. thank god i hit 69 tonight, just 1 more level to go.

To quote "The Untouchables" - You wanna know how to get Capone? They pull a knife, you pull a gun. He sends one of yours to the hospital, you send one of his to the morgue. *That's* the *Chicago* way!

Except with The Zerg, its more like 20 guns! :P

If your 5-box is being camped by only 2 players, then you're doing something wrong. They might be able to camp one or two characters, but not all five. Easiest way to escape a gank like that is to have all your chars face in a different direction, ress them all at the same time and broadcast the auto run button. They might be able to kill you on the first couple of resses, but eventually your chars will be so far apart that they can't keep an eye on all of them. Which creates room for ressing and regrouping. (An alternative is to keep ressing one of your chars as a decoy. While that one char is keeping the campers busy, you'll be able to continue questing, pvp'ing with the other 4)

Why would i leave one char behinde? So that the others 4 would be 1 level a head?

If two well geared 70's show up i dont stand much chance if they coop just abit.. I can kill 70's solo but good geared rogues rip trought my shamans very fast and can keep 2 out of the game for a while. (blind, sap)

I look forward to getting 10k hp and 250-300 resillience before i just save honor and marks untill WOTLK.

Depends on the situation. If you're not there for the pvp, then you probably don't want to leave one behind. Ideally, you'd ress a char when the enemy players are camping another char (they usually move from corpse to corpse). That way, you don't have to leave anyone behind. When you're pvp'ing however, you can use one of your chars to keep high level players busy while the rest of your group continues to pvp. In the worst case scenario, you don't want to pvp or keep them busy and they refuse to move away from the corpse of your last char. It becomes a bit more tricky, but its still possible to pull out that last char. If you know how to use the scenery to prevent enemy players from instantly pulling you into combat, you can buy your last char some time to summon him (by lock or summoning stone) to a safe location. If even that fails, you can just spirit ress your last char. It will have ress sickness then, but the other 4 healthy chars will be enough to boost him while you quest.

Add them to your KoS list (Vanas KoS) and when you get higher level go back and return the favor. :) I'm currently making life difficult for this guy Adams who camped my low level druids (now level 62 and can one shot him). He usually ends up logging off. That sends a message to them to NOT camp multiboxers. It might be fun at the time but it will really hurt later. And having a spy on the other faction helps so you can always know where they are.

Hehe...This is one reason I dropped all my other toons and came to Mag. Purely to join the zerg and to be a part of a great team.

Best thing to do when you get camped.. Corpserun, wait by bodies, go out for a little fresh air, sit back and watch something, go make some food or call someone, and then return to the game uplifted (or saddened :S ) by the knowledge that some ppl wasted 20-30 minutes of their time doing absolutely nothing.

PS: great thing about a PvP server is that is someone comes online, /w you, complaining from the other faction on the server.. they acctually went out of their way to create a new account just so they could /w you :)

I was powerleveling in ZF and a couple alliance were killing me while I was resetting. Luckily I dinged 45 shortly after and hearthed my lowbies out of there. I left my paladin behind to run out and back in every 10-15 minutes while leveling enchanting on one of the alts. 40-50 minutes later I left to do a heroic. They* were still there and I have no idea how long they were waiting for me after that.

*There was at least one mage behind the instance portal when I left. I think the others left before this though.

Or you could play a set of alts. That way you take a break and still get something done while they burn their time doing nothing.

I'm actually kind of sad...I've only had 1 pvp experience and that was at 26, before I really started getting my macros and PiP switching down. My 5 shammies, level 26, vs a 22 warlock, a 30 hunter, and a 26 priest. Although I nearly 1 shotted the hunter, they still kicked my ass :(

I guess I kinda panicked when my 'main' died. That's fixed now with about 4 hours worth of macros, keybindings, and KeyClone. Now I can hit F8-F12 to switch to whatever needs to be the new leader. That, and as of this morning they're all 40.

I had a fun camping trip the other day in the Bone wastes @ 67

I went into the tomb of lights to do the quest group, saw a 70 feral druid and 68 shaman there. Normally red = dead. For some reason I was feeling benevolent and was going to let them finish. The shammy was making friendly emotes so I thought it would be cool, then the druid pounced on my main. I think most folks get the whole kill the main guy thing. He got my main but I was able to kill them.

Then the shammy logged her lock main who was in all pvp purples and some season gear. They killed my group and proceeded to camp. So, I did some other things and came back and they where still there , so I just waited them out while I was doing some work on my other pc. The lock finally logged out.

The Shammy logs in and the druid helps her finish the quest, and they are fighting their way out since all the mobs respawned.

I waited. When they got past me and cleared the mobs and moved to the next room, I rezed, healed, drank. It was at that moment the druid came back to have a look around, just in time to eat a LB+CL combo, one fried kitty. The Shammy was still fighting some mobs. So I calmy walked out, she saw me and tried to run, I bbq'd her ass, /lol'd and went on my way satisfied.

But yeah, the kos mod, love when that thing goes off, the hunt is on. I've been able to kill so many now on that list its great :)

I got it setup and I LOVE it. It will take another 4 hours or so to set it up but its worth it. You lose the whole concept of a "leader" and you just play the characters like you are 1 boxing.

You lose the whole concept of a "leader" and you just play the characters like you are 1 boxing.I think I found a solution that works as good, as I still don't quite catch the way the key-switching works with KeyClone. I just set it up so F8 is my 'main' normally, F9-12 are my second monitor divided into 4 quads. I wrote a simple hotbar switching macro to where whoever is the current 'main', they use hotbar 1, and the other 4 use hotbar 2. Those macros are bound to the F8-F12 keys. When I switch screens, it switches party leader, and the followers always assist and follow party 1. So far it works great, and if/when I do collection quests, I just finish up on 1, hit F9, finish, rinse, repeat. It works like I'm playing 1, just like that sticky you mentioned.

When that happens to me.

I go get a lvl 70 team

best to get 4 locks and 1 shadow priest

then I return the favor.

Now thats fun :)

4 hunters and 1 priest are also fun
