Hello everyone,
I would LOVE to see people's 1xMonitor maximizer setups when running quadboxing.. I've been looking abit arround but couldnt find anything.
Im only looking for widescreen setups.
PS. Please put in your monitor size (inches) and resolution.. Ty :)

Looks like you're looking for a triple-box layout for the pc, correct?

Personally i run 5 on one screen, one big on one side, and the other 4 along one side.
24" screen with resolution of 1920x1200
To keep my aspect ratio the same on all windows, I made my Main window size 1520x1140 and the alt windows sizes 400x300.
And I run them all in 800x600 resolution.
For 4 boxing I would probably use a similar setup, just see what fits really while keeping the aspect ratio the same.
One way could be to have the three alts along the bottom or top of the screen, with a widescreen setup, but I found it easier to deal with and setup with my 4 on the side.
Just try around and see what you prefer and what you can get good aspect ratios with.

This is my setup, I use 30" screen fro main, and 24" for slaves. My main toon is running in 2560x1200, so not only i have much wider view, but mainly IM doing it like this so i can have some desktop space on the top, for itunes, keyclone etc.
My slaves are in 960x600, i just like the bit of extra space fro mods and whatnot. In shat Im getting about 30 fps all across the board, its smooth and there is no slow downs, every where else im at 50-60.
(btw Im kinda poor in this ss lol, I just bought 4 epic flying mounts)

5 boxing.
Dual monitors - 1x 22" Wide, 1x 19"
Main is on the 22" Widescreen, running at 1680*1050 with maximiser set up so that it takes up the whole screen (only use maximiser for it so i can use PiP and quickly swap to one of the others).
Slaves are set at 800x600 resolution, but squashed down to 640*512 so that they all fit nicely on the 19"
Hopefully I should have a 3rd monitor attached, looking at getting another 8800 (wow they are cheap now! Got my GTS 640mb for about $600AU, now they're around 200!) and possibly a SSD to run my main/data/cache (however they are around $400 au)
here is my set up its a bit wierd cause i wanted to keep my task bar but i hated not filling my screen
Layout is for 1680x1050 screen with task bar showing
rember to set the screen res in maxamiser to be 1680x1020 on all the windows to stop it throwing your UI out of wack.

Hope it helps.

WoW, that's exactly how i wanted it, What's your W/H on your slaves?
I have a question for you guys that is related to this. Do the other screens not in focus run smoothly. I tried this setup before and all the slaves ran choppy, maybe at <10fps, but the client in focus was at full FPS >45fps. I dont know if my computer always did this and I didn't notice, or if it started when I changed my display drivers recently.
I know my computer is capable of running them smoothly, but I think it might be some sort of setting that slows down the clients not in focus to save resources.

This is based on a 1280 by 800 layout.
1 Main screen en 3 based at the bottom.
You can paste it in the keyclone config file in the keyclone folder.
